Her DJ sets span among leftfield and abstract tunes all the way to breaks and Detroit electro and they are highly dependent on emergence, improvisation and genre bending. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @coroberlin

Aver is a musician & music producer from Manchester, UK, who moved to Berlin in 2016.
He is part of the band Move 78, whose music is a blend of improvised jazz, drum-heavy
hip-hop and experimental audio collage. He is a long standing resident on Refuge
Worldwide and hosts a monthly show celebrating independent music, weird records and
strange vibrations. Using the starting point of sampling, Aver digs deep in his collection to
blend jazz, film soundtracks, and musique concréte with many more varied genres to
create a wonderfully psychedelic sonic collage. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @coroberlin

Vio PRG moves between the booth and the mic - a Renate resident with a monthly transmission called Flight Mode on Refuge Worldwide. Raised on the edges of Romania’s underground, she trades in floaty, borderless sound, regardless of genre. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @coroberlin

Midweek service 23/9 we present Jimmie.
JIMMIE is an Italian, Berlin-based DJ, resident and member of Queer Vinyl Night, a locally rooted event series that aims to sustain space in the vinyl scene for Queer and FLINTA DJs.*

Her sound moves between dream-like sequences and raw club energy. JIMMIE blends acid- and trance-infused rhythms with Italo and indie elements, creating focused electro journeys driven by a dark yet inviting pulse. Sometimes spacey, other times groovy. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @coroberlin

Midweek service is our cozy get together with natural wines and music from vinyl.

Born in Brazil and rooted in Berlin, Vaccaro carries a deep connection to Afro-Brazilian rhythms. His music draws influences from different scenes and sounds, shaped mainly by progressive, deep/tribal house, driven by the raw, unpolished energy of the late ‘90s.

Over the past few years, Vaccaro held multiple residencies across the city contributing to the creative direction of events and collectives. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @coroberlin

IT BEGAN IN IPANEMA.
Book presentation, reading & DJ Set
with @DanielHaaksman

Thursday, 10th of September, 19h.
FREE ENTRANCE

About the book:

“It Began in Ipanema”, released on paperbag by @sorry_press, tells the story of Rio de Janeiro through 50 songs. From bossa nova and samba to baile funk, Daniel Haaksman traces more than a century of music and the city that made it. Moving beyond the postcard image of Ipanema and Copacabana, the book travels from the beach to the hills, from global myth to favela realities. Each song opens a different window onto Rio — its history, contradictions, longing, resistance and rhythm. Part essay, part travelogue, part musical deep dive, the book creates a sensual map of one of the world’s greatest music cities. A journey through Rio with your ears wide open. Best read while listening. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @coroberlin
