🥊 BOXING IS MORE THAN A SPORT… IT’S A LEGACY!

A special THANK YOU to Janiro Legacy, the family of legendary boxer Tony Janiro, for stepping up and supporting Yonkers’ Own, NABF Super Featherweight Champion Iman Lee!

Pictured alongside Iman is Tony Janiro’s great-grandson, Jack, a young amateur boxer carrying on his family’s proud boxing tradition 🥊

We truly appreciate the Janiro Legacy’s generosity and belief in Iman’s journey.

Please remember to support those who support Team Lee!

🎬🥊 WHEN BOXING HISTORY MEETS THE BIG SCREEN!

Check out this clip courtesy of Throwback Media, featuring former professional boxer John Carlo sharing the story of how he became part of the cast of our short film Marcel’s Promise!

What makes this project even more special is bringing together boxing personalities like John Carlo, Junior “Poison” Jones, Iran “The Blade” Barkley, and Aaron “Superman” Davis to help tell a story rooted in boxing history.

🥊 FOUR FIGHTERS. ONE FILM. A SHARED LOVE FOR THE SWEET SCIENCE!

A special thank you to Bobby Cassidy Jr. and Throwback Media for continuing to shine a spotlight on the people and stories that make our sport so special.

🥊🔥 HE WAS THERE FROM THE BEGINNING!

When it comes to Junior “Poison” Jones and his place in boxing history, few perspectives carry more meaning than someone who helped develop him as a fighter.

Frances Romano, Junior’s first trainer, makes a compelling case for his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

And his argument comes down to THREE victories:

🥊 Orlando Canizales — Hall of Famer
🥊 Marco Antonio Barrera — Hall of Famer
🥊 Marco Antonio Barrera — Hall of Famer AGAIN!

THREE VICTORIES OVER TWO BOXING LEGENDS!

Junior is officially on the 2027 IBHOF ballot. Now we respectfully ask the voting writers to give his accomplishments their consideration.
