To my sweet girl,

Spending this whole year with you has been the most beautiful journey of my life.

Watching you grow, learn, and discover the world around you each day has been such a privilege. Seeing you blossom into the little princess you are becoming fills our hearts with so much love and gratitude. We are so lucky to have you.

But it’s time I return to work!!! my emotions are mixed. Being your full-time mummy has been the greatest gift, and I have cherished every cuddle, every smile, every milestone, and every moment in between. But alongside that, I’m excited to reconnect with a part of myself again.

Motherhood changes you in the most wonderful ways. For so long, my focus has been entirely on you and our family that I almost forgot the woman I was before becoming your mummy. Now, as this chapter evolves, I’m learning that I can be both your devoted mummy and myself. I’m so proud of the woman and mother I’ve become, and I’m excited to continue discovering who I am beyond motherhood too.

What a journey this first year has been. We’ve both achieved so much, and I couldn’t be prouder. One of my greatest accomplishments has been breastfeeding you for an entire year. It has been one of the hardest yet most rewarding experiences of my life. To have nourished, comforted, and cared for you in that way is something I will treasure forever.

Thank you for every lesson, every laugh, every cuddle, and every moment of unconditional love. I cannot wait to watch you grow and see the incredible little person you become.
