Hi all! My name is Corrie Mendes ✨ I own C Event Studio in Los Angeles. I haven’t reintroduced myself in a while to any of my new followers so here we are! Welcome!!
.
I’ve been living in Los Angeles for 25 years now originally from Canada. I started my professional journey in this crazy city working for the Academy of Motion Picture on the Oscars. From there I freelanced on live tv shows AMA’s, Grammys, Emmy Awards etc. My old friend Brent Miller introduced me to an event producer who needed someone to help on a party in Spain for Norman Lear.
I ended up managing her office for 12 years and was lead on many amazing events & weddings all over the world. Michael Jordan’s wedding in Florida. Kim & Kanye’s wedding in Italy. Nick & Vanessa Lachey’s wedding on Necker island….So many more and great memories (you can spot me on some old Kardashian Episodes or wedding specials 🙃).
.
I have two girls who I love more than anything and when I had my second daughter I started my rental company @teakandlace to be able to have more time with my family & help my daughter with her health issues. The demand for me to keep doing events kept pulling me back, so in addition to the rental company, I opened C Event Studio. ✨For the last ten years I’ve been so grateful to continue to produce beautiful (and FUN) events for you…focusing on design, detail & ease for my clients. Most of my clients have now become friends /family over the years.
We’ve travelled all over the world but primarily in our home town of LA producing events for our favorite people & creating their families memories ❤️ Thank you for following along on our fun journey! XO Corrie

Happy 250 birthday 🇺🇸! JULY 4…. Imagine if there was no war and we all lived beside each other in peace. Accepting our differences. Let’s celebrate today together. Enjoy good company. Share food & good cocktails. This reel is a look back over the years at some of the parties I’ve thrown. Celebrating together ❤️🇺🇸. I loved seeing the videos from fifa and people from all over the world experiencing the good parts of America instead of reading the bad in the news.

A little behind the scenes of how we put things together. That letter board was a labor of ❤️ everything was for that matter… less than 48 hour turn around. All hands on deck! One ran to prop houses gathering speakers & props. Dave threw every rolling case he could into a truck for me to use. Rob turned the rentals in less than 24 hours as did Cyndy with the balloons. Laura just printed 10 of anything I could need.
Also as a working mom I flew my friend Meg out to watch the kids during this whirlwind.
When we all work together we can pull off almost anything ❤️✨

A core memory trip with my Emmie!!
.
When she graduated I asked her where she’d like to go with mamma on a solo trip. She wanted to see some shows in Vegas & visit her best friend Elyse.
.
Full circle moment here!!!!!… I grew up with @nkotb and now she watches them on @fullerhouse (every night before bed for the last 6 yrs she watches the show)
and was SO EXCITED to see them
(SO WAS MOMMY 🥰).
Priceless moment with my Emmie who has conquered the last 18 yrs. Rockin Autism ❤️ We danced like crazy and sang our hearts out.. no headphones!! 🤸 she even got a
@donniewahlberg hug during the show 🥹
.
.
Ty uncle @nicklachey & auntie @vanessalachey xo for making this moment happen for us.
