OASIS: Going Meta
NFT Exhibition
2022.02.20 - 2022.03.13

-
The most rewarding part of curating exhibitions is watching imagination come to life right before your eyes. Many new friends may not know this, but I've actually organized more exhibitions than any other type of event.

During my last visit to Chiharu Shiota's solo exhibition at Mori Art Museum, I arrived too late and missed the optimal natural lighting to fully appreciate this piece. However, seeing the same work at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum this time deeply moved me - I found myself crouching down to study it intently for quite some time.

Mirza Cizmic’s Solo Exhibition

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear. —— Mark Twain

Mirza Cizmic's work uniquely blends contemporary themes with humor, like watching a cleverly written film. Though shaped by his childhood in war-torn Bosnia, he transforms these experiences into intimate stories rather than sweeping epics. His Kafkaesque paintings explore human nature through comedic narratives. What stands out most is the emotional depth woven throughout his work.
