Bringing Caleb to J-PopCon has become a staple for me at this point. It’s one of my favourite costumes and definitely the one with the most memories attached. But this year, I was roped into taking photos in the snow – the result being these incredible captures.

“Death happens, as we like to say. And when I get paid for it, death happens more often.”

I played Dragon Age: Origins for the first time during the pandemic and have been attached to this Antivan idiot ever since — so I threw together a cosplay for him in time for Närcon 2025. It was so fun and so well-received that I’m considering making a full cosplay for him in the future.

Bendix (quite literally) hunted me down to capture these photos: one of the funniest cosplay interactions I have ever had.

I’m excited to share these captures from this year’s J-TSOON — the medieval streets and buildings in the old parts of Tallinn set the perfect scene for a the Witcher photoshoot. The only difficult thing is keeping a straight face around Jose as Jaskier!

Last Zevran post for now. Bendix came up with this idea for a photoset to capture Zevrans character. Luckily Mai was helping us behind the scenes and was more than ready to be assasinated! These photos are the result.

The spontaneous snowfall at J-PopCon this year was incredible for taking photos in — and luckily Caleb is a warm costume to wear, so I didn’t end up with a cold (unlike many others that weekend).

“I don’t need to live a thousand years. I just need to live today.”

Truthfully, I only started watching One Piece because of Ace (and a handful of friends who told me to cosplay him…), but I have grown to really enjoy the show. As a result, I managed to throw together this quick cosplay in time for J-PopCon 2024 — and plan on completing the full look in the future.

I’m blown away by the love I’ve received on this cosplay, and even more so by these photos. Thank you to @cedkie_photo for taking the time to capture such a fun day.
