🔥🫖 A tea party—but make it FIERY. 🔥

Our latest Corvus Media shoot was all about taking an idea and turning it into a fully built world. Featuring Elena Gomez and LiH Ocean, with photography by Nicholas Harvey, this fiery tea party came to life on a custom set built right in my backyard from the ground up.

Creating this was SO much fun. From designing the set and styling the scene to bringing real fire torches into the concept, we wanted every detail to feel dramatic, elegant, artistic, and a little dangerous—while keeping the actual production safe. 🔥

Elena is professionally trained in working with fire safely, and our team completed fire-safety preparation before the shoot. When you're creating with elements like fire, safety always comes before the shot.

This is exactly why we create. Taking an idea that exists in someone's imagination, building the environment around it, and making something tangible together is what keeps our passion for art alive.

Quality doesn’t always come from having the most expensive equipment, props, or locations—it comes from imagination, intention, and being willing to create something out of nothing. 🌿🛁✨

I built this botanical bathtub set right in my backyard using old household materials I wasn’t using anymore, pieces I could repurpose, and props I already had around me. What started as a collection of random things slowly became an entire little world for us to create in.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about looking at what you already have and asking, “What could this become?” Sometimes the best art comes from experimenting, recycling, rebuilding, and trusting your creativity.

I’m also grateful to have creative friends like Nick Harvey who share that same passion for making art. Having people around you who are willing to build, experiment, photograph, and turn an idea into something artistic makes the process even better.

You don’t always need more—you might just need to see what you already have differently. 🖤🌱

Building the set is becoming just as much fun as shooting on it. 📸✨
