Summer may technically be winding down, but we’re not quite ready to let it go. ☀️🌊

After the first week back at school, there was no better way to spend the weekend than sandy faces, salty hair, fishing adventures, ocean waves and the sweetest friendships.

Watching my boys make these memories with friends they love makes my heart so full. 💙 So grateful for these kids, these friendships, and a summer full of memories we’ll never forget.

I miss you more than words can say and think of you every day. I know you’re watching over us from Heaven, and I’m grateful for the love and guidance you still provide. ✨☁️
One of the things that breaks my heart most is that you never got the chance to be Sutton and Bennett’s Papa. 💙💙 They would have adored you, and you would have loved them beyond measure. Their laughter, personalities, and big hearts would have filled your heart to the brim. 🥹❤️
I wish you were here to make memories with them, but I’ll continue sharing stories so they know the incredible man who would have been their Papa. ❤️

I wanted to share something that’s really close to my heart. As you know, Bennett has type 1 diabetes, and this journey has changed so much for our family. The walk we do each year has become incredibly meaningful to us—it’s about hope, awareness, and getting closer to a cure.

This year’s walk is on November 8, and I’m honored to be the event chair. Right now, there’s also an amazing opportunity—a generous donor is matching every donation at five times the amount through May 3, which makes every bit go so much further.

It would mean so much to me to have you there walking alongside us. And if you’re able to donate, truly any amount helps and is so appreciated. I just really want to share this part of our lives with you 💙💙💙 by @corybennettdesign

Last day of single digits 🥹

Sutton turns 10 tomorrow, and I’m soaking in every second of this moment. You are brilliant, loving, and so incredibly brave. The way you show up as a human, a friend, a brother, my son is inspiring. You are truly good to your core🤍

You are such an amazing big brother to Bennett, and the bond you share is so special🤍. I am so proud of the person you are becoming and all the joy you bring into our lives. Soooo lucky to call you our brother, our son.

I already know you’re going to do amazing things in this life. Dream big and go chase every single one of them.

A little late to post… but this silly, sunshine-powered boy is 8!✨🦁✨

Bennett, from the moment you wake up you are ready to laugh, explore, and take on the world. You make every day brighter just by being you. ❤️

You and your brother are tit-for-tat in the best way — always competing, always pushing each other, and always ending up laughing together. 🙂 And you’re still my cuddle bug… the one who sleeps glued to me like we’re made of Velcro, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.

Type 1 Diabetes may be part of your story, but you never let it slow you down. You take every challenge in stride and always find room for joy, jokes, and mischief along the way. ❤️

You are my little lion 🦁 bold, loving, silly, and unstoppable. Dream big, stay curious, and keep that laugh loud. We’re right here with you through it all. 🌟❤️

A weekend we will never forget 🤍✨ Our family grew in the most beautiful way as Grant and Sierra became husband and wife 💕

Sierra, we love you and your family so much. When Bennett woke up the morning of your wedding, he said, “Mama, today we get new cousins!” 🥹💙 He was so excited and he was right. We got that and so much more.

✨ Calling on all of our friends and family ✨

As many of you know, our sweet Bennett was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in November 2023. This November 16, 2025, we’ll be walking with @breakthrought1dsocal_oc to raise awareness and funds for a cure for this relentless autoimmune disease.

Bennett continues to thrive, even when the odds feel stacked against him. He is the bravest boy, the most empathetic soul, and a light in our lives. Watching him grow and being his mama is one of the greatest privileges of my life. We are with him every single step, and we will never stop fighting for him and for everyone living with T1D. 💙

A huge thank you to @Bpiersant45 for creating such a meaningful video for us. it fills my heart in ways I can’t even explain.🫶

We would love for you to walk beside us as part of Bennett’s Tribe. It would mean the world to us, and especially to Bennett, to have our circle of love surrounding him. Together, let’s rise up for this cause.

🌟 A Huge Thank You! 🌟

I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Jenni Kayne and Aleph Gallery at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach for their incredible support during our shopping event yesterday, all in the name of finding a cure for Type One Diabetes.

As we enter November, National Diabetes Month, we are reminded of our journey with our son Bennett, who will soon have his one-year “diversary” since his diagnosis on November 13, 2023. I can’t express how proud I am of him—he truly is my superhero!

Bennett’s strength and resilience are inspiring, and I know he wouldn’t be in such a positive place today without the love and support from our family, friends, and the amazing team at CHOC, as well as his incredible teachers and nurses.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey. Your love and support mean the world to us! 💙
