If your fat, glamorous and fashionable baby this movie is for you! Essential diva cinema and Mo'nque and Queen Latifah were the woman who really helped me with my body confidence for years. This movie in particular tho is very underrated and if you've ever been fat or have to continously have a conversation with your body this is for you. I love this film.

♡Molly's Game
I love Jessica Chastain performance in this and I relate to her in this for so many complex reasons. Curating a fantasy for an exclusive type of man/client only to be burned by them. As well as the drug of Ambition.

♡For a good time call
Girl boss with sexy twist, so grab a friend, wine and lock in twin.

♡Hard Candy
You know how woman who've endured sexual violence watch shows like #svu for the catharsis of justice or just wishful thinking of getting it. How Olivia Bensen is such a champion both on screen and off with Mariska Hargitay. Yea this movie is like that except of you were groomed in hs for "being mature"

♡The prestige
I love movies with magicians aka Now you see me. But the mutual revenge ploys here between two magicans is so satisfying when you finally unveil the last trick. The gage no one gets the last applause.

Today's category is: Mother I'm sorry. I tried filming a breakdown video as to why I picked these movies and I kept going off on tangets and over sharing 🙃 😅 I said no gurl let me just post my graphics this video is 40min long.

On the list is

♡Spanglish
God so many layers to this movie. The one I wanna highlight is how immigrant caretakers are able to build the capacity for others to parent the way they want, while struggling to provide for their own. I wonder what parenthood would look like if it wasn't framed through the lens of white supremacy.

♡Yaya sisterhood
When my mother passed there was alot of anger and unspoken conversations we didn't have. It took years for me to unpack my childhood and the contentious relationship we had. Part of that was having to learn more about her. While it didn't excuse why she was the way she was, I did understand. The world doesn't prioritize woman's mental health and that's such a disservice to mothers and families.

♡mother!
I know this was a controversial movie when it came out but as someone with religious trauma I ate this shit up. Woman since the dawn of time have been consumed, used and martyred && its never enough. I hope there's a future where motherhood isn't exploited by the thumb of patriarchy. Not even the woman of the Bible know that freedom.

The quotes: Earth is just filled with mothers and her children is so haunting to me, true as it is. The world is unkind to mothers. && glorifies incompetent fathers. Fuck that.

One of my fav Bruce Willis movies. I wish they finished the trilogy. it's actually based off comics. There is some love stories💖 and the car scene where they walk out a moving car. Drooling.

Growing up watching totally spies i love gadegts!! Spy academy, a trilogy, and gentlemen who know how to fight.

♡Wanted
I recently rewatched this is and it made me sad we never got a sequel to Salt. Some of the action shots in this are so satisfying.
