Sunday night is the ecstatic, ridiculous crescendo of our birthday weekender - a collision of so many of the sounds, ideas, and feelings that make the venue what it is and the climax of five years of Miscellania madness.โ  โ  Big beat bass heads ๐‘ซ. ๐‘ป๐’š๐’“๐’๐’๐’† & ๐‘ต๐’‚๐’š๐’„๐’‚๐’ƒ transition from dusk to night, a duo we absolutely had to have back after their unreal set before Eris Drew and Octo Octa;โ  โ  ๐‘ถ๐’”๐’‚๐’Ž๐’‚ ๐‘ฉ๐’Š๐’ ๐‘ฉ๐’–๐’“๐’๐’๐’–๐’• (๐˜–๐˜ด๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ข ๐˜‰๐˜ช๐˜ฏ ๐˜‰๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ ๐˜ฃ2๐˜ฃ ๐˜‹๐˜‘ ๐˜‰๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ต) turn the freak dial up on the dancefloor with a debut b2b of two long-time venue staples; experts in juke and rap-spiked club cuts;โ  โ  ๐‘ฏ๐’‚๐’“๐’“๐’Š๐’”๐’๐’ ๐‘น๐’Š๐’•๐’„๐’‰๐’Š๐’†-๐‘ฑ๐’๐’๐’†๐’” (๐˜ฑ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ง๐˜ฐ๐˜ณ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ) returns with their visceral performance art after their legendary Pleasure Planet finale show;โ  โ  Our favourite madmen ๐‘ช๐’–๐’•๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ ๐‘น๐’๐’๐’Ž (๐˜ญ๐˜ช๐˜ท๐˜ฆ) have been the highlight of so many shows at the venue, so we had to get them back right at the peak for their frenetic brand of pure energy, live techno-punk mania.โ  โ  And the one and only ๐‘บ๐‘ถ๐‘ฝ๐‘ฉ๐‘ณ๐‘ฒ๐‘ท๐‘บ๐‘บ๐’€ on the close - a DJ where every single appearance at Misc of theirs has been memorable, from their perfect warm-up for RP Boo (at one of the best parties in the venue's history), their early-peaktime set with frequent b2b partner Rydeen at the last Misc b'day; their full-of-feeling set at the Gaza Fundraiser years back... They're a DJ who understands how to handle the limelight, and who has a special skill for creating dramatic moments. โ  โ  Unadulterated club chaos to close our birthday weekender out. CLUB ECSTASY/ Saturday 14 June 6.30 pm โ€“ midnight CRISIS BANGERS/ Individually, these two Melbourne based DJs have a foundational reputation behind them. Osama Bin Banger, known for his jack slapping, kick thumping, high energy funky ghetto madness and Pris Crisis for their execution of techno and deconstructed club which defies convention, have created irresistible dancefloor moments across this city for a number years. Together, theyโ€™ve formed a collaborative project called Crisis Bangers. Previously, having brought you Whacked!, a transgressive queer club night championing the overlooked talents Australia has to offer, these two divas are now focused on blasting the underground sound of the 90s. @coshnow @piss.sample Tickets - link in bio taken in The Substation by @coshnow
