TRACE METALS, an international group exhibition curated by Bram Braam and Stephen Burke at @galerieburster
@berlinartweek

Departing from the field of Post Vandalism, the exhibition explores urban surfaces, material traces, and the shifting meanings of public space. From fragments, repairs, erasures, and barriers to gestures and residues, the works trace how the city leaves its marks and how these traces find their way into painting, sculpture, installation, and video.

Featuring works by Clemens Behr, Marc Bijl, Bram Braam, Stephen Burke, Cosimo Casoni, Rutger de Vries, Julia Eichler, and Tabata von der Locht.

TRACE METALS I Cosimo Casoni

Cosimo Casoni develops paintings at the intersection of art and everyday life, drawing inspiration from landscape, architecture, movement, and urban subcultures.
Influenced by skateboarding and climbing, his layered compositions explore balance, rhythm, and space. Geometry, play, and post-graffiti aesthetics come together in dense pictorial fields that combine planning with improvisation.
Casoni lives and works between Maremma and Milan.

Artistes : Adriane Wachholz, Alicja Kwade, André Wendland, Aneta Kajzer, Bertille Bak, Camille Henrot, Carsten Höller, Christian August, Cosimo Casoni, Frédéric Weigel, Gregor Hildebrandt, Ida Ekblad, Isa Melsheimer, Jean Bedez, Jenny Brosinski, Joan Jonas, Johannes Daniel, Kenny Schachter, Kristian Touborg, Lars Breuer, Lou Ros, Lucie Antoinette, Marie Bovo, Norbert Bisky, Pablo Tomek, Philip Grözinger, Sophie Calle, Thomas Zitzwitz, Ugo Rondinone, Xiyao Wang, Yorgos Stamkopoulos

NEO art & culture lab x VogelART
6 bis rue Lascaris, 06300 Nizza, France
neovogelartlab.com taken in Nice Côte d'Azur by @cosimo_casoni
