We speak of an "inner world" as though we already knew what it was.

Thoughts. Feelings. Images. Memories. Intentions.

But have we ever really looked at the substance of this world?

We look through a thought toward what it means.

We look through a feeling toward what caused it.

What happens when we stop looking through them — and begin looking at them?

Perhaps the boundary between "inner" and "outer" is not quite where we thought it was.

Don't look at WHAT you are thinking.

Look at the thought itself.

We ordinarily follow the content of our thoughts: what they mean, where they lead, whether they are true or false.

But what happens when attention turns toward thinking itself?

A thought is no longer merely something static to look upon.

It has movement.

And somewhere within that movement, we may begin to discover the one who is thinking.

When Super Intelligence threatens to surpass human intelligence, perhaps the real challenge is not to keep up with it.
Perhaps human intelligence has to awaken to its next stage.
Not by blending with Super Intelligence, but by discovering what intelligence actually is.
If we assume that intelligence is merely produced by the brain, we have already decided the question before investigating it.
What happens when we begin to observe intelligence from within?
