[28 Mar 8PM at 55A NEIL ROAD] When Beyoncé needed authentic underground credibility for the 2023 Renaissance World Tour she bypassed mainstream DJs to handpick queer Black house icon Dee Diggs. Fast forward to today and that same undeniable energy is arriving fresh off a standout set at Australia’s Pitch Music & Arts. Her Glitterbox pedigree is finally making its way to the dancefloor at Cosmic Sugar. Hyperballad will open for her that evening while Agus Danny will kick off the evening earlier in the evening. fomohomo.sg/deediggs by @cosmic.sugar.disco
FOMOHOMO invites Dee Diggs from Brooklyn, New York, to their next Cosmic Sugar at HOST. Hyperballad primes the dance floor for our headliner. Dee Diggs bares her soul and loses her inhibitions when she touches the DJ decks. She transmits the pure joy that comes from the private practice of devotional appreciation of music. An unapologetically black, queer and lifelong student of the tenets of House Music, she builds adventurous, energetic and rapturous sets spanning many genres. Known for a dynamic chameleon pastiche approach, every set or mix reminds us to thank the original Black American innovators of house and techno. She reached a massive milestone in 2023 by opening for Beyoncé on the Renaissance World Tour. Beyond her stadium appearances, she continues to bring her kinetic drive to global institutions. She arrives fresh off a standout set at Australia’s Pitch Music & Arts and is slated for major upcoming festival appearances including a dual debut at Sónar in Lisbon and Barcelona, GALA in London and Polifonic Festival in Puglia. She has also played legendary stages like Dekmantel in Amsterdam and Time Warp in NYC. Her studio work is just as active. Her recent 2026 collaboration with DJ Minx and Ultra Naté, “Push The Vibe,” continues her mission of honoring the innovators of club culture while pushing the global underground forward. This follows a massive 2025 that saw the release of her WATERFALL EP, her track “Talk Her Thru It” on the MARICAS Vol.3 compilation and the acclaimed single “Love Cruise.” Diggs is still giving her all in her DJ sets while working out of her studio in Queens, NY, proving there is much more to come. Details: ⚡️ Cosmic Sugar ft. Dee Diggs (NYC) 🗓️ March 28 ⏰ 8 PM to 12 AM. A key figure in the Pittsburgh scene will be joining us on the line up of @cosmic.sugar.disco . Ricky Mawzlin ( Jellyfish, Pittsburgh) As a lifelong music nerd, Ricky’s passion for DJing and sharing music has taken him all over the USA and abroad. His genre-blurring dance floor journeys take inspiration from everything: hidden record store gems; or underground dance scenes around the world; or growing up playing in post-punk/shoegaze bands; or early work as a video artist. As one half of the queer DJ duo Jellyfish, Ricky has co-organized and played legendary events throughout Pittsburgh and beyond since 2017. Jellyfish parties are artsy raves that celebrate queer joy whether they’re held in alleyways, warehouses, dive bars, or even boat docks. DJs and drag performers from all over the world join in on the fun. With sets that blend everything from italo disco to obscure house, melodic acid, and beyond, he’s played dance floors in cities like London, Mexico City, Berlin, Tokyo, Bogota, New York City, and more. Always busy. Never bored. And always looking forward to the next project whether it’s a solo show, or as part of Jellyfish, or, in this case, as a mini-bio writer. Introducing the man who needs no introduction for our first edition! @ouissam.jpeg (Savage / Snug / Equation, FR - VN) It would be wrong to start talking about where Ouissam Mokretar comes from – after a decade in Asia, he’s now something of a regional entity that has managed to change the dance music scene wherever he has laid down roots. His approach to a dance floor is as simple as it is intuitive and elegant: nothing that can make a room shudder with joy is barred from his selections. As the founder of Hong Kong’s Cliche Records, he was one of the first in that city to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis that shifted the understanding of what could be danced to there. He went on to create the magnetic Homesick and Fragrant Harbor labels, before suddenly setting his sights on Hanoi in Vietnam, where he has established the dance mecca Savage where he runs the monthly queer night Snug. And on top of all that, he found time to join the Wonderfruit team as a music director in 2023 and curate the coveted Equation festival. But beyond his achievements, you find a DJ with a pure love and appreciation for the power of music, and one that has learnt how to harness this love into something that can be transmitted to his dance floors. Moving effortlessly between disco, house and techno, long-lost gems collide with cutting-edge groove to produce a sonic aesthetic that is simply irresistible. SWEET DEETS: WHEN: 22 Nov, 3PM - 10PM WHERE: Tanjong Beach Club ENTRY: FREE with RSVP! Also want a throne? You can RSVP (free) or Reserve a plush Daybed or cabana (for that fancy fee (s) all at the same link. by @cosmic.sugar.disco
