Cosa troverete nell'intervista?

New release announcement: Cosmo Dance - "COSMO-LOGIC" will be released around July 13, 2026 ☆ Worldwide distribution by The Pusher ☆ Pre-orders are now available via our Bandcamp.

Cosmo Dance is the artistic alias of Cosimo Mandorino, an Italian producer and DJ who has been active in the electronic music scene for more than two decades and is also the founder of the label Mirella.

Produced and completed in Napoli during a series of short stays, and developed with the contribution of Raffaele Arcella and Dario Di Pace, "COSMO-LOGIC" unfolds within a parallel, plausible, and dystopian universe where humans and machines coexist in constant tension and perpetual conflict.

Shaped by narratives of rebellious computers, wars between binary systems, and universal languages, the album pays tribute to the early era of Italo-Disco while remaining deeply infused with elements of cosmic disco and stripped-down electronic funk. The tracks make extensive use of mechanical rhythms, voice modulators, vocoders, and analog effects, exploring sonic territories forged through iconic instruments such as the Korg MS-20.

@cosmo_dance_

Cosmo Dance, born Cosimo Mandorino, is an Italian DJ, producer, and founder of Mirella Records. Deeply inspired by the Italian sound of the early 1980s, he translates that era’s warmth and cinematic flair into a contemporary form of electronic disco.
His career began in 2005 with the Slow Motion collective. With Francisco he co-created the Lineabeat series, helping define a style rooted in Italo-disco and synth-wave aesthetics.
In 2022, he co-founded the duo Maurizio e Dandolo with Marcello Giordani, a stylish homage to Italy’s disco golden age. Through Mirella Records, launched in 2023, Cosmo Dance champions music that transcends trends — reconnecting dance culture with emotion, narrative, and timeless beauty.
Together with Raffaele “Whodamanny” Arcella, he co-wrote the album “Fantasy” under the name “Ch.Op.” It was released in January 2023 on the historic label Best Records. The album has already achieved cult status and is destined to become a classic of the genre.
In 2023, he launched Mirella Records, an independent imprint dedicated to producing music that transcends instant consumption — restoring dance music’s original role as a space for emotional storytelling, memory, and freedom of expression. #diskodisko #mirellarecords #cosmodance #antialgorithm #rovrlive by @cosmo_dance_
