Love independent cinema! ❤️

POSTS STORIES REELS

Waking up on the Gram to tell you that my latest release, @mirgthefilm is now available on Jio Cinema for you to watch. It is a film by the most amazing set of people, who I will never be able to thank enough ♥️

Actors are often boxed into how they look and what would make them most "natural". If you're reading this post, you'll probably recall me as a "best friend" or an urban, good looking character in most of my previous work - all of which I have thoroughly enjoyed 🥰

But then came #Mirg. To me, this story, is a personal reminder of how to go back to the drawing board and teach myself to "act". And may I dare to call this a request to all those who call me for auditions to know the ability that I (and a lot of other actors) hold to pull off on screen beyond our looks. Please believe in your actors. 🙏 We know you wish the best for us. 🤗

#Mirg is a story of courage - for us to remember, ki apni story ke lead character toh hum khud hi hain 😎
If you've made to my caption till here, I will wait for you to tell me how you liked it. DM or comments, I read them all 😁

Also do meet the rockstars @ajitabhsingh
@ridhirajpal_ @x.chehak.x @ved_19sep @ashharhaque @clamshellindistress
The genius Director #TarunSharma,
and the ultimate winner @shwetaabh.singh who have made this film what it is today.
I cannot wait to work with you folks again 🙏

@mukesh_sharma1987 , thankyou for considering me as worthy to audition for 4 🥰 Chai on me when we meet next 🥰🤗

What a beaut! Our win trophy for the 'Best Experimental Short Film' at @mumbaiindependentfilmfestival. 😍🏆🎉

...and while we await our pictures from the stage, here are some grabs from the awards show and from our premiere screening in Mumbai at the 6th MIFF event. ✨

With each year, the show gets better and better, and it's a pleasure meeting new filmmakers and artists as well, that form the unique lineup. MIFF now, is much more than a film festival to us. We have grown with it and it's now like a film family, that encourages and supports our various experiments and we are just sooo grateful. 🙏🏼

Many congratulations to the whole team! So happy to have you all with us for this. Missing those who are away and those who couldn't make it. @cosmopopliton @suggiyama @meghnabhalla @malaaimama @theartprojectt @archi.ives @thesoundorb @glambygala @zaranimo @srishtishenoy @aniruddhawattal @siddkoomar

Our mandatory picture, with the wonderful @supriyarshukla ma'am. Always a pleasure meeting her and talking about our new films with her.

With the festival chairman, the dynamic Mr. Haril Shukla and the very admired writer-director and jury member, Mr. Omkar Shetty.

Flaunting the trophy.
