ROOTS

After three weeks in Australia, I came home with way too much good music waiting for me.

Instead of trying to squeeze everything into one massive mix, I decided to split the music by sound and feeling. Different journeys, each with their own identity.

ROOTS is the warmer side of COSMOS.

Afro House driven by deep percussion, organic rhythms, hypnotic vocals and melodies that make it hard to stand still. Warm, earthy and built around movement.

No rush. Let the groove settle in.

Feel the rhythm.
Feel the warmth.
Back to the ROOTS. 🌍🔥

HIDDEN GEMS #01

A new chapter within Into The Cosmos.

No fixed genre. No obvious choices. Just rare finds, deep grooves, strange sounds and tracks that caught me somewhere along the way.

Dig deeper. Press play. Get lost. by @cosmos.aiff

The first edition of De Nachtbesteding, right in our hometown, surrounded by good friends.

This set is a melodic journey filled with tracks from the old days, the kind of records that instantly bring back memories of beautiful festivals, special nights and moments that stay with you. Music that takes you back for a little while.

Thank you to everyone who came, enjoyed, danced and shared this night with us. Your energy meant everything.

Welcome back! This weekend we are with COSMOS — where music isn't just a hobby… it's habitat. Born and based in the Netherlands, he approaches the booth with a philosophy grounded in flow and feeling rather than technical showmanship. His sets are constructed as continuous narratives, prioritizing long transitions and the delicate balance between tension and release to create moments where the listener can simply forget time.
His sound is a fluid architecture built on a foundation of Melodic Techno and Afro House. Yet, COSMOS refuses to remain static; he naturally weaves in elements of Indie Dance, Progressive, and Tech House whenever the energy demands a shift. It is a style driven by storytelling, where tracks are not just played, but carefully blended to create movement, emotion, and space.
For his exclusive MUSICUNEED debut, COSMOS delivers a forward-moving journey that perfectly encapsulates this ethos. The mix is a seamless and emotive exploration of Melodic Techno and Afro House, designed not just to move the floor, but to connect moments and people through the universal language of rhythm. Floating one more time on the final track of the set. Beautiful memories from this night ❤️

That evening I had the chance to play at The Other Side. In the video you see the last track of my set.

For my closing tracks, I always choose something emotional. A song that makes you feel again. A track that reminds you that you are alive, and that you matter. taken in The.Other.Side by @cosmos.aiff

Prometheus, this is one from an era when music still allowed silence.
I made special memories to this track with @ppieter87. I miss this kind of music, where did this style go?
Those tracks that gently pierce your soul and remind you that you’re alive.
