Two years ago I recorded some songs from my most recent album Eye to the Ear live in my studio with the incredible Many Moons and the wonderful @howl_london!

As it’s the two year anniversary of the album coming out I thought it would be a good time to release this live EP.

I am over the moooon to announce the release of ‘Come Along’ a children’s book based on my song and illustrated by the incredible Liniers (@porliniers

It brings me so much joy to see the way he has brought these nonsense beings to life. Now I know what a humdrum looks like, and a heffalump!

I could not be more happy with the way it has turned out.
Sooo many thanks to the incredible @magiccatpublishing for making this a reality and all their wonderful work.

Long live nonsense beings both great and small.

I am incredibly excited to share some of the music from my new album ‘Eye to the Ear’, which will be released April 12th 2024. It has been a wild journey to piece it all together over the last five years. Today I’m sharing the opening and final songs of the album together. The first is ‘Stop the Music’, which I wrote after learning about the extraordinary adventures of an ancestor of mine who had been a pickle and condiment maker. The song slowly fermented, and is now a celebratory stomp exploring themes of consumption, excess, madness, and the possibility of transformation.

The final song on the album is called ‘Does the Swallow Dream of Flying’ which I wrote in a solar powered studio in a shed in Dorset. Here, I try to imagine the world from the perspective of other beings, including a bird, a flower, a river, and the wind. It also features the wonderful vocal ensemble @howl_london. I am so grateful to all the people, places, creatures, plants, fungi, and sounds that have helped to bring this music into being. I hope you enjoy! Listen on the link in my bio. I’m excited to share the news that I have made the soundtrack for an incredible film called DIGGER. Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, featuring Tom Cruise, John Goodman, Riz Ahmed, Sandra Huller, Michael Stuhlbarg and Jesse Plemons among many more. It is a dark comedy of catastrophic proportions. Out on the 2nd of October. by @cosmosheldrake

The documentary “Allpa Ukundi, Ñukanchi Pura: Underground, Around, & Among Us” tells the story of a collaborative project between the Kichwa Indigenous People of Sarayaku in the Ecuadorian Amazon and an international community of lawyers, scientists, artists, and advocates 🍃

Together, we joined forces through the Science Across Cultures Initiative (SACI) - an effort to weave Indigenous and Western science in defense of Kawsak Sacha, the Living Forest 🪲

This documentary is a journey into the unseen worlds that connect us all. It’s a story of solidarity and respect, of sovereignty and the Sarayaku Peoples’ fight to defend their ancestral territory, and an invitation to listen deeply to the living forest and explore the many ways in which life unfolds underground, around and among us 🍄
