Share this with a pet lover who rents in NSW. “No pets allowed” isn’t as simple as it used to be. If a tenant submits a proper pet request, the landlord or agent needs to respond within the required timeframe. Ignore it for 21 days and the pet may be automatically approved. Worth knowing for both tenants and landlords. #nswrentals #tenanttips #landlordtips #propertymanagement #elderslidcombe by @costas.athanassiou
• FROM VACATION TO VISION • Our love for the Mediterranean has always been deep-rooted, born from countless journeys to our homeland where we savoured the richness of European culture — from the scent of fresh herbs to the touch of handwoven fabrics, and the timeless beauty of marble steps in the morning light. After an unforgettable 2022 trip to Cyprus, Greece and her Islands, we returned home to Australia, with a desire to recreate this European elegance in our everyday lives. Our goal is to bring Mediterranean beauty and soul to Australia, one collection at a time. • KONSTANTINOS + IPHIGENIA • by @costas.athanassiou
If we haven’t met yet: I’m Costa, Principal at Elders Lidcombe. I’ve worked in Real Estate for over 20 years, and what still drives me is the people side of the job. Property Management, when it’s done properly, isn’t just about collecting rent or scheduling inspections — it’s about communication, fairness and taking care of the people behind the tenancies. Alongside my wife Effie, we’ve also Co-Founded Grecian Collective, a boutique fashion and skincare brand bringing Mediterranean craftsmanship to the world and Cyprusays, a language-learning tech company preserving the Cypriot Greek dialect for the next generation. Different industries, same approach: build well, serve people and stay consistent. • #EldersLidcombe #PropertyManagement #SydneyRealEstate #PropertyInvesting #BusinessLeadership #EntrepreneurLife #GrecianCollective #Cyprusays #SmallBusinessAustralia by @costas.athanassiou

Every industry has its stereotypes. Unfortunately, property management has a few too many accurate ones. At Elders Lidcombe, we prefer the slightly less theatrical approach: answer the call, contact the owner, chase the trade and keep people updated. Cowboy hat optional. Follow-up essential. #propertymanagement #rentingnsw #tenanttips #landlordtips #elderslidcombe by @costas.athanassiou

• Property Manager with over 20 years experience shares tips for NSW renters • Urgent repair not being dealt with? NSW tenants may have options to organise urgent repairs themselves, up to a certain limit, but there’s a proper process to follow before taking it into your own hands. Quick breakdown in this reel so you know what to do before things get worse. #nswrentals #tenanttips #urgentrepairs #propertymanagement #elderslidcombe by @costas.athanassiou
Rent increases in NSW aren’t the free-for-all some people think they are. There are rules for landlords, rights for tenants and a process that needs to be followed properly. Breaking it down simply, because both sides should know where they stand. #nswrentals #rentingnsw #tenanttips #propertymanagement #elderslidcombe by @costas.athanassiou
Share with anyone you know that owns an investment property in NSW! #elderslidcombe One crucial thing to emphasise with the latest NSW rental reforms is how important tenant selection and proactive management are now more than ever. With the removal of 'no-grounds' lease terminations, landlords must have a specific, legally valid reasons to end a tenancy. Your property manager should be helping you navigate this leasing landscape from day one, guiding you through compliant scenarios, ensuring flawless documentation and minimising risks. Clear, transparent communication and alignment with legislation from the very beginning set you up for a smooth tenancy and long-term investment success. by @costas.athanassiou
A very special moment for Effie and Cyprusays® at the 2026 CYDIA Awards in Limassol, Cyprus 🇨🇾 Thank you to everyone who voted, supported and believed in the mission behind Cyprusays®. Winning the Advocating Cyprus award means so much because this has always been about more than an app. It’s about preserving Cypriot Greek, honouring where we come from and helping the next generation stay connected, wherever they are in the world.
