Reluctantly signed up for the Kizomba Pacific Northwest Jack & Jill —because why not throw myself into the deep end with less than a year of dancing experience? 😅

I was too nervous to fully enjoy the beautiful dancing of my lead (who went on to crush it in the finals and placed 2nd overall). But hey, I learned a ton and survived the nerves!

I wish there was more content, and more hair stylists, that know how to handle grey AND curly/wavy hair.

I LOVE the colour but figuring out how to deal with the constantly evolving texture (ie., coarse & wavy, not curly) has been painful.

Finding @deshaircare who ‘gets it’ and helped me figure out what to do has been amazing.

I was surprised by how much it mattered to me. Maybe because I don’t feel like going grey is aging… but sometimes that feels lonely when I struggle to find support in an absolute ocean of beauty & anti-aging content.
