Today is dedicated to reading until midnight 🤎🙂‍↕️☕️
Work kicked my ass this week and I didn’t get to read very much which is sad bc I want to read all my books soo bad.
But today will be a happy self care Saturday.
I wish everyone well and a beautiful day🤎

“ I envy the leaves
That grow from the trees
They’re all so carefree
Through the seasons,
unaware of the fall.”

“mystery novel about a wealthy family facing two child disappearances fourteen years apart in the Adirondack Mountains.”
Another book added to my tbr.
Lately, I’ve been exhausted from work and too tired to do anything but sleep. I hate when the work days feel draining. And I’ve read very little, sadly. This weekend should make up for it… hopefully 🥲

Grief,
toxic codependency,
and monsters brought to life by imagination.
Thomas had no idea that Andrew would do anything for him.
Protect him.
Lie for him.
Kill for him.

I haven’t been feeling very well health-wise these past few days but much better than Friday night. Haven’t even been able to read. But today feels good.My chest doesn’t hurt when I breathe and I want to pick up a book… after I start/finish the chores I pushed to the side when I was very unwell.
Happy Labor Day and Happy Reading🤎

“The pains of love,
and they keep blowin’.
In my heart,
there’s flowers growin’
On the grave of our old love.
Since you gave me a straight answer.
If you still want me,
please forgive me.
The crown of love is not upon me.
If you still want me, please forgive me.
‘Cause the spark is not within me.
It’s not within me,
it’s not within me.
You gotta be the one.
You gotta be the way.
Your name is the only word that I can say.”
- Arcade Fire ( Crown of Love)

Finished this incredible book 🥹
I laughed, I cried and felt everything in between. Great characters, great story. Of course I bought book 2 🕯️ I’ll never look at a flicker of fire the same.
