Philly Marathon Sunday on B & W

I often find myself asking myself “How can I give back to a community that has given me so much?”

I was in one of the darkest times of my life before I joined @endorphinsrunning and showing up to my first run felt like a turning point for me. I know it’s cheesy to say but I truly do feel like running and finding this run club changed my life for good (wicked pun intended). One way I like to give back to this community as a way of saying thank you, is capturing photos like these. One single photo captures a fleeting moment but film feels different to me. The moment feels more permanent.

I hope my silly little photos will something people will look back on 20 years from now like “that’s the day I ran the Philadelphia Marathon.”

Going through the archives and realizing I shoot a lot and barely post my photos. Deleted tik tok so here’s a photo I took at Coney Island beach this summer.
