POV: You thought sand sledding at would make you look athletic… but instead you became a human tortilla rolling down a sugar-white dune. 🌵😂Turns out sledding on gypsum sand is WAY harder than it looks. 🎯Pro tip: wax the sled, lean back, and maybe don’t scream the entire way down like we did.But honestly? The wipeout was worth it. White Sands National Park feels like another planet and is one of the most unique places we’ve explored. ⚠️ UPDATE TO CLOSURES IN YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT ⚠️Temporary trail, backcountry campsite, and fishing closures remain in effect northwest of the Old Faithful area following a recent grizzly bear incident.Park staff believe a female grizzly bear with 2–3 cubs-of-the-year were involved.
