🏀🥈 A SEASON TO REMEMBER. A PROUD MOMENT FOR THE COUGARS FAMILY! ❤️🐾

Some achievements go beyond the final result. They represent years of hard work, dedication, belief, and passion for the game.

Today, the entire Cougars family proudly celebrates Coach @coach.chemali.s , @marc.alia0 , and @farid.nassarr for their remarkable achievement of finishing as Runners-Up in the Men’s Division 2 Federation Tournament!

An incredible season that saw a very young team, one that few expected to reach the final, overcome expectations and compete for the championship.

For Coach Salim, reaching the Division 2 Finals with such a young group is an outstanding accomplishment. His leadership, determination, and belief in his players throughout the season are a true reflection of what can be achieved through commitment and hard work.

For Mark and Farid, this achievement is another beautiful chapter in a journey that began six years ago at Cougars Basketball Academy.

From their first steps at the academy, through competing in Division 4 and becoming Division 3 Champions with Cougars, to now reaching the Division 2 Finals, we have had the privilege of watching them grow into the players they are today.

Three individuals, three journeys, and one incredible achievement that makes our entire Cougars family proud.

What makes this moment even more special is seeing people who have been part of our Cougars family for so many years continue to grow, succeed, and reach new heights.

To Coach Salim, Mark, and Farid: Congratulations on an exceptional season!

Your achievement is a source of pride for all of us and an inspiration to the younger generation of players who dream of following in your footsteps.

We are proud of what you have accomplished, proud of the people you have become, and excited for everything that lies ahead.

ONCE A COUGAR, ALWAYS A COUGAR. ❤️🐾

A NEW ERA BEGINS.

An era where development comes before results.
Where we stop judging young players only by wins, losses, points or trophies.

We are building something different.

A place where players are taught to compete, but also to understand the game.
To become stronger.
More skilled.
More disciplined.
More confident.
More complete.

The scoreboard will always matter.

But for us, it will never matter more than the player standing in front of it.

This is the beginning of a new Cougars.
Built around one priority:

DEVELOP THE PLAYER.

The wins will come after.

🇱🇧 FROM COUGARS TO SPAIN 🇪🇸

Another Cougar is ready to take the next step. 🐾🏀

We are extremely proud to announce that Ray Sarkis (PG/SG) will continue his basketball journey at SBA Academy in Spain.

Ray came through our academy, trusted the process, put in the work, faced the challenges, and kept believing. Today, that journey takes him beyond Lebanon and onto an international stage.

This is what development means to us.

Not only winning games.
Not only developing skills.
But helping our players become ready when bigger opportunities arrive.

Ray becomes the second Cougars player this year to leave Lebanon and continue his development abroad — another proud moment for our academy and another reminder of why we do what we do.

The Cougars chapter helped build the foundation.
Now it’s time for the next one. 🇪🇸

Go make us proud, Ray. ❤️
Once a Cougar, always a Cougar. 🐾

DEVELOP HERE. COMPETE ANYWHERE.
