A quick stop at Independence First today. ♿️💛
Accessibility has been a thread throughout so much of my work, and something I care deeply about. Building communities where everyone has access, opportunity and a sense of belonging isn’t an add-on. It’s the work.
Here’s to greater independence, access and equity for all. ❤️

This crew. ❤️🏃‍♂️🌲

Last weekend we spent about 24+ hours running nearly 120 miles through Nine Mile Forest in Wisconsin’s Northwoods - trails, roots, rocks, darkness, very little sleep and a whole lot of laughs.
But the best part: we were running for The Cam Fund, which uses this Ragnar tradition to raise money for education and opportunities for kids in Cambodia. Eight runners, three trail loops each, all day and all night, one very muddy campsite and one pretty great reason to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Grateful for this ridiculous, kind, adventurous crew - and for everyone who donated, encouraged us, handed somebody a coffee, or tolerated us smelling like the woods for two days. 😂
Would absolutely do something stupid like this with you all again.

Always an honor to support @makeawishwisconsin at the annual fundraiser to help drive support and golf balls at the @grand_geneva.

Too many sponsors and people to thank for helping out the kids, but two major MVPs right here, thanks for the invite @brianartka and great work Forrest, 17 years and still pushing golf carts uphill for the kids is impressive.

Hope the kids love their wishes, so cute and important to showcase the results which is its own reward. Hope to see you all again at the event next year!

17 years ago, I somehow ended up filming freshwater surfers on Milwaukee’s North Shore. 🏄‍♂️🌊

The intro was shot at #AtwaterBeach in Shorewood, and I met the surfers just down the road at Big Bay Beach. I turned it into a little film for #VitalSourceMagazine /#ThirdCoast as part of a series called #ominowakiing. Anyone at @MKEPressClub remember that publication? 😂

Pretty sure I landed a marketing job at @FunjetVacations not long after this epic day, so this clip supporting @mkecountyparks feels like a time capsule from a completely different chapter.

Seventeen years. Seriously, where did the time go? 🎥🌅

And watching it now makes me wonder… what if I’d just kept up with the column, should i bring it back, what say you @thewatercouncil ???
