My dude … #dohboy by @courage_juice

Pictures of couple dinner came via @mrs_howell36. The menu was Chilean Sea Bass with roasted fingerling potatoes and sautéed green beans with garlic. This was the first time I cook and had sea bass. Let’s just say it was damn good. The Chardonnay was courtesy of The Calling RRV 2018. It matched perfectly. 🤔 maybe I should cook fish more often. #chileanseabass #couplenightdinner #russianrivervalleywines #chardonnay by @courage_juice

Simple keys to life, “Don’t be jerk!” No one likes jerks, especially the self righteous variety. Be humble, be nice, and act like you have home training. by @courage_juice

When you survived a week of battling your HVAC company and you have to embrace the thrill of victory, this is the rum for you. @ronzacapaca Edicíon Negra is truly a beautiful experience. It reminded me of a smokey banana fosters. The sweetness wasn’t over the top … the key word that keeps coming up is … balanced. This is a must get. #ronzacapa #negra #rum #amusthave #drinksomerumyoupirate by @courage_juice

This sequence of events led to a satisfactory conclusion to the day. Braised chicken with olives, onions, and baby new potatoes. The sauce reduction went perfectly and the wine … let’s just say the Alsacian Gewürztraminer was the perfect pairing. 🤩 #drinkwinemakelove #braisedchicken #gewurztraminer #damnthatsdelish #winetime #dinnerwasgood #homecooking by @courage_juice

I decided to treat myself towards something special. An @arturofuente_cigars Opus X Lost City. You may ask what was the occasion for a luxury cigar. Celebrating 12 years of marriage and a year of homeownership. Yes, I did have a double shot of @fourrosesbourbon Small Batch, but the usually Mexican Coke was exes, because they were out 😩. My wife is just like the cigar; robust, smooth, and completely spectacular. To my wife: A sincere … thank you. #fuenteopusx #opusxforbiddenx #cigars #coronaclub by @courage_juice

A note about me, I’m not easy to please. I am that tough grader for I know what I like. There are numerous wine critics out there, but you have to find one that will shoot it straight when it comes to their opinions. I have found that @jebdunnuck is one that I know that I can lean on when it comes to a product. With that being said, I looked at this rating on a wine from @amici_cellars and I decided to give it a shot, needless to say I wasn’t disappointed. Not to seem like a total fanboy here but it was their California Chardonnay’s that turn around my opinion of Chardonnay’s in general from California. They literally let the fruit speak for itself, not letting the oak just shout all over the wine. The Pinot Noir is deep in character, yet not a blend like some others from California that decide to add Syrah into the mix. The Cab … the cab … I have a weakness for Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. I love that they are totally braggadocious in nature. Totally up in your faces demanding attention refusing to be ignored. This Cabernet Sauvignon delivers on this characteristic and more. It gives you that Napa “hug” that is inviting you to spend more time with it. Ok, ladies it is like a young Denzel Washington, dark and brooding with a smile that can …. 🤭 Let’s just say you will not be disappointed by it. #jebdunnuck #amicicellars #pinotnoir #chardonnay #napacab #cabernetsauvignon #drinkwine #courage_juice by @courage_juice

It has been a while since I’ve been able to do this. Yes, it is the simplest things that become to hardest to do when you are running figuratively a hundred miles per hour and your mind is racing even faster. I miss touching wine in the touch of enjoyment. I will make it a point to carve out more time to do just that. #onelessmonkeyintherace by @courage_juice

Any ideas what wine would you drink during a summer storm? by @courage_juice

Lounging on a stormy Friday afternoon. The stick is disappointing, well I can’t say that because I am use to a more robust stick. The bourbon is courtesy of @fourrosesbourbon; it’s the Small Batch. Of course there is the Mexican Coke to keep me company. #bourbon #diamondcrowncigars #fourrosesbourbon #smokecigars #drinkgoodbooze #dayoffromwork #courage_juice by @courage_juice
