Most of us relate to love as something we do or feel. We feel love toward someone, we fall in love, we choose loving actions, and we profess words of love. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While these associations of love express your heart and happiness for a time, the real substance of Love is something more. It is an unchanging state within us, ever-present and constant. It is the highest state: pure light and internal freedom. This state is within all of us, only obscured by the mind that argues with this reality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While love is who we are, people rarely experience themselves as love. Instead, they experience some combination or variation of the following: I am what I think, I am what I have, I am what I do, I am what I believe, and I am my image/identity. Our attachment to these limitations separate us from the truth of who we are. We see ourselves in these narrow roles—and we suffer inside our carefully constructed mental cages. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Relationships are a growing ground for your love. As you learn how to align, negotiate and at times sacrifice your personal needs for the good of the relationship, you strengthen as a team supporting one another. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
