Courageous The Musical is a powerful urban stage production that blends the raw storytelling of street life with the emotional depth of Broadway. Set in a fictional borough of New York City, the story follows a group of young artists navigating the pressures of gang violence, ambition, loyalty, and love while being forced to make life-altering choices that will define their futures.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Courageous: The Musical at the historic Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture @schomburgcenter . Together, we made history as the first musical ever performed in the Schomburg’s 100-year history.

Courageous was created to combat gang and gun violence by showing how it impacts entire communities through storytelling, music, and art. This is only the beginning — more shows and events are coming soon.
