☕️ - banana cream matcha latte

💭 i appreciate a trend starter. i went to this place back in April because I saw that they were trending for their banana cream matchas/lattes and they did not disappoint. there was a decent line and decent wait but I don’t blame them when their drinks taste THAT good. they also use quality ippodo matcha. Located in a shopping center with loads of parking. I’d be there a lot more if I lived closer but it’s a fun treat when driving by. by @court.ado

☕️ - swipe to check out the menu to read the deliciousness

💭 the one and only coffee shop to get a 5/5. @nicely85 and @gabevenegas_ are absolute coffee magicians. they are both particular and super detailed with every pour. nicely is a latte art world champion and gabe placed 2nd this year! what I love about hooked & flo, is the quality. syrups are made in house, and you can’t get any of their lattes elsewhere. they’re creative and delicious. everyone should experience this place! i respect the no computer rule, come and socialize and bring some cards. recommend? ✅ by @court.ado

🍵 - matcha latte
☕️ - vanilla bean latte (homemade vanilla bean syrup)

💭 this is my favorite coffee shop i’ve ever been to. it’s the first cafe i’ve ever had cream top last year and it set a standard. the side of cream top is good for 2 drinks but soon you will no longer be able to purchase the side, I believe they will start having cream top signature drinks. their matcha consistency is one of the best in LA, they have batches and scoop it into your drink. they use ippodo which is one of the best quality ceremonial grade matchas out there. recommend? ✅ by @court.ado

🍵 - cream top matcha latte
☕️ - tiramisu latte

💭 ive been here 3 times in the last month because this place is so good! I really enjoy their matcha, no milky flavor and salad. of course the tiramisu was a little sugary, next time will add an extra shot. this place is always jam packed. has loads of seating and great underground parking. recommend? ✅ by @court.ado

🍵 - matcha einspanner (matcha sweetened with vanilla with a thick cream top)
☕️ - einspanner latter (regular latte with cream top)

💭 another place that popping off on tiktok right now with a line out the door. if you’re looking for the perfect Instagram picture, then I recommend coming here. if you’re looking for a creamy, delicious matcha, I unfortunately don’t. although the matcha has the perfect green color to it, I found it a bit milky. the latte was better. recommend? 🤷‍♀️

🚩general note - I never understand why coffee shops charge $7/8 for a latte when they don’t make their own syrups. making a vanilla syrup is the easiest thing you can make and will taste 10x better. this place uses the monin syrups and it’s a big red flag for me whenever I see monin, torani, etc syrups at popular cafes. i will always doc -.5⭐️ from places that use them. by @court.ado

🍵 - double matcha (matcha cream top with matcha powder on top)
☕️ - cream top latte (swapped the water for milk)

💭 this place this popping off on tiktok right now. known for their matcha and reasonably so. one of my favorite matchas I’ve had. super creamy but not too sweet. so many things on their menu I want to try. latte was for a coworker so will need to try myself. located in a parking lot and good amount of seating inside. very quick service as well! recommend? ✅ by @court.ado

☕️ - best mate (cinnamon-y oat latte)

💬 my favorite coffee shop on the west side. 1 minute walk to the beach so it’s perfect to grab a latte and go for a walk. parking across the street. great natural lighting and good spot to bring your computer and work. recommend? ✅ by @court.ado

🍵 - strawberry matcha
☕️ - mascarpone latte

💬 coffee shop based out of an air stream! usually you’d think a shop like this would have shitty drinks, but, they were very crafty. both drinks not too sweet. recommend? YES. by @court.ado
