Hello, again. 🤎

Life is looking a little different since I was last on here, I now have a tiny human who has become my absolute bestie & world in one. But it’s not just life that looks different, but myself also.

So as much as I’m back, I’m not back as the person I was once before, and that’s okay. I’ve accepted that I need to find this new version of myself, but I know for sure reading is still apart of this new person. I can’t promise consistency, but I can promise to keep it real whilst trying my best to read during the chaos of motherhood !!!

I have missed this space, and I have A LOT of catching up to do. For now, let me reintroduce myself but also introduce you to my new favourite character of my own story…

what I read last week

You guys, I really have my reading bug back and it feels GOOOOOD. Trading in doom scrolling for pages is making a difference 👏🏼⭐️⭐️

Also, I expected MORE from the witch by our freida, but it was a little entertaining and I guess pretty spot on for this time of year!!!

Did I get my 3 month old a boo basket? YESSSS
Does she have the slightest clue what it is? Absolutely not🤣

But this is my first time being her mum, and I want to soak up every little moment, every first & every excuse to make her childhood magical. It’s monday, so let’s see how many pages I read last week !!!

I’m really making a conscious effort to read whilst I’m nap trapped by little miss, and if I’m feeling up to it (meaning if I’m still awake by this point) when she goes off to bed.

overall feelings on falling too late: this book is filled with emotional devastation and trauma, it felt very slow at times but I do think I became attached to the characters!!

September was a month filled with baby cuddles and lots of trips to the garden centre, autumn decor also crept out & we celebrated Scott’s first birthday being a daddy!!

I can’t lie, I’m SOOO excited for this October. First spooky season with babs, and it will be my first birthday as her Momma. Lots of memories are going to be made, and I’m feeling super grateful.
