Saying goodbye to the sport that has brought me so many blessings and lessons into my life. God blessed me with a long and amazing career, and I will forever be thankful for all the support and love I have received over the past 10+ years. Not only am I ready and excited for new beginnings but now my body can finally rest (and heal) lol. Thank you @theultimatetrainingcamp for this life changing experience. This 20 hour competition was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it has been the most rewarding experience both spiritually and mentally. A year ago I was in a bad place because of a serious injury, and this year I was not able to perform how I wanted to on the track. I went through a very long, difficult, and emotional journey. This week has made me realize that I am more than my sport - and there is more to life than being just an athlete. Through prayer I was able to get through everything in the competition, something I haven’t been able to do in the past year. I’m so thankful for this experience and I can’t wait to see what else God has planned for my life. 💕And thank you to everyone at UTC for the overwhelming amount of love and support you have given me - you all have become my family, my brothers and sisters for life. And huge thanks to @aiarutgers for all the love and support throughout the past 6 years. ❤️ by @courteneyc_
