POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@emi_burnel.pb from La France #lesbleus represented France at the @pickleballworldcupofficial in Da Nang, Vietnam.

I had a chance to speak with the super friendly and kind and an amazing athlete Emi at @pullmandanangbeachresort and found out why he loves pickleball and what he’s planning to do with his new found love.

Hope hearing Emi will make all of you want to go try this beautiful game and perhaps - just perhaps (WARNING🤭) - you will also find lifelong friends and your community out on the pickleball courts! You never know. Right? @emi_burnel.pb 🥰

Merci et à bientôt. J’espère qu’on peut jouer un match quelque part dans le monde! (Peut-être avec @jaydevillierspickleball ☺️) ALLEZ! 🥒💛

From 18 years of basketball to discovering pickleball, @courtsidewithnancy found more than a new sport. She found connection, community, and belonging 🙌

In today’s 🎥Stories of Hearts & Second Chances🥒❤️‍🔥 EP4 I had the chance to sit down with the OG of our pickleball world the one and only @kyleyates.pb, head coach of Team USA @usnationalpickleball, who came 1st place at the @pickleballworldcupofficial in Da Nang, Vietnam earlier in September👏🏽🎉🏆

We got up close and personal on pickleball and life, what pickleball means to @kyleyates.pb and on how he learnt as he got older that the meaning of life is about giving 🫶🏽✨🥹

This episode hit home for me as I, just like Kyle, learnt through sports - injuries actually! - since a young age that TRUE happiness - true fulfillment in life, for us human beings, come from giving to others, helping others. Giving more than we take.

What about you? What brings you true fulfillment in life?

Thank you to Kyle for being vulnerable and sharing your story with this beautiful sport. Look forward to seeing you out on the pickleball courts!🥒☀️🌎

Visit @kyleyates.pb in Colorado, USA! 🇺🇸

WHO AM I?

I’ve been dreaming of spreading the positive sporty and sweaty vibes all around our small small world since a young age💦💪🏽☀️✈️

My dream is and has always been to allow the youth to experience the magic of sports, where they can go to FEEL ALIVE, where they feel like they BELONG✨🙏🏽 Like sports and playing all types of sports since I was at a young age has given me — a TRUE belonging, a calling, a PURPOSE, and a lifelong PASSION❤️‍🔥

Forever grateful to have grown up in a sporty family and environment (to be allowed to skip class to play sports and perhaps even ENCOURAGED to🤭), surrounded with kindred spirits with the same growth-mindset and same Hearts. Super thankful to be in the vicinity of top athletes, to have the opportunity to learn from the best. Sport has given me my whole life and I’m fortunate to have found my life purpose of making our world a better place through sports🌏🫶🏽

BEYOND THANKFUL for the lessons learnt on and off the courts/ sports fields.

Like the great Nelson Mandela has more than once said: “Sports has the power to change the world.” And that’s been my life mission since I could recall.

Are you with me?✨

The only competition is YOU vs YOU YESTERDAY🔥✨💪🏽 so keep working, keep grinding, keep improving, and never NEVER GIVE UP❤️‍🔥

PADEL MAKES ME FEEL ALIVE.

Cannot describe the feeling being out there on the courts be it with strangers or the padel-strong community (the addicts or addicts-to-be), who may have started as strangers but eventually (if not instantly for some) become your best friends✨

WHAT MAKES YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL SPORT?

The thing about sports - the thing that draws me back and make me realize I can’t live without it, is I’m addicted to GROWTH and making PROGRESS🌱

Playing sports is when I feel the MOST ALIVE✨

Padel is a game where I can work both my body and mind💪🏽🧠The perfect combination. I say, it’s like playing chess with my body, while sweating♟️💦(and I mean, what more can we want? If you feel the same, ❤️this post🔥 and/or COMMENT below👇🏽)

So grateful to find pickleball and consequently led me to discover padel. 🇺🇸🇲🇽 Can’t wait to go courtside around our small small world to continue to improve my craft, while exchanging wits and sweats with you all!🗺️

Who else is crazy about this NEW (old) game invented in 1969 by Mexican businessman Enrique Corcuera in Acapulco, Mexico, when he adapted his backyard space to build a smaller, enclosed court? (Allow me to nerd out a little here🤓)

According to @padelfip, a tennis enthusiast, Corcuera did not have enough space to build a full-size tennis court in his backyard. Instead, he created a smaller court measuring 20 × 10 metres, enclosed by 3-metre walls with a tennis net in the centre. This became the first padel court in history. The first set of rules was drafted by his wife, Viviana, a former Miss Argentina, who presented them to him as a birthday gift.

(COPADO!🎾💚)

Who else wants to play padel all around the world? ✈️🗺️
