Issue out now! (link in bio) #college#newsletter#courtyard#wcfa by @courtyard_wcfa
Issue 29! (Link in bio) A page-6-esque story on a collaboration between Hollywood's Kim K and Pritzker prize winning architect Tadao Andao, a lesser known fued between two architects, a poignant poem about the tragic fate of a home and a humorous peek into a study tour; if "variety" had a name it would be this issue. Having been in the works for over a year, this issue was rediscovered and reworked on by more than 4 teams making it something of a Frankenstein's monster. Fortunately, the longer duration of brewing has led to it having a very intriguing theme and content unlike those you would find in older issues. Click on the link in bio to read more! Issue 28! (Link in Bio) 01 April 2024 Newsletters have been synonymous with colleges and universities all over the world. It is quite often a primary student initiative as it is that fundamental platform for student expression and reflection of campus culture. Due to a few hitches in functioning, a major setback in campus life after covid, and the general tendency of aversion to reading which is a symptom of a variety of factors and influences that we are subjected to today, Courtyard has struggled. Though not in the throes of death anymore, it is still struggling to find relevance. We, as part of the current editorial team at Courtyard, believe that it still remains that powerful platform. The only change is that it is now in the journey of finding its new meaning and relevance through the current students of WCFA. Active participation through a desire to communicate, share, express and receive, is what is going to shape this new tangent of its character arc. This issue is a commemoration of the journey of Courtyard- how it started, what it was meant for, and where it is heading. With no specific theme, this issue is a collage of student work. Ranging from articles, poems, illustrations and photographs, there is something here for everyone. by @courtyard_wcfa
