Getting back to his Brooklyn roots in the #cathipsterbeanie by @friday.knits 😸

I had some leftover @purlsoho yarn from the Simple Pleasures hat and thought some father-son twinning was necessary 👯‍♀️ Unfortunately I didn't measure his head correctly and made his hat a bit too small (2XL) but I think in the end it adds to his hipster look!

For his friend Oscar's hat I used leftover @thewanderingflock yarn and sized up to a 4XL. Cous was gracious enough to model both hats and hopefully Oscar will love his hat too!

I had some leftover yarn from another project and decided Cous needed a #bigbowbonnet 🎀 I'm not sure he could look any cuter!

Look how cute Cous Cous is in his sweater! 😭💕 Thank you @made.by.sarah.z for letting me test knit the Bunny Sweater, a made-to-measure cat sweater. It was such a delight to see everyone's adorable cats in their outfits 😭 I cannot wait to make more sweaters for him so we can match 👯🏻‍♀️

My Pluto Top test knit for @mei.knits is complete! 💫 I knew I needed to knit this sweater as soon as I saw it, particularly the long sleeve mock neck version. I modified the arms a little- fewer decreases and an extra increase at the end for extra bell sleeve emphasis- and I could not be happier with the result!

It was also my first time knitting with @noroyarns and I love all the different textures and color! It's made me feel so much better about my handspun yarn too. I loved when I would get to slub and the little extra texture it provided. There is so much beauty in variety and chaos!

@thewanderingflock 's new pattern, the Rayas Cardigan, releases later this week! I got to knit a striped sample for them in their Cotton Lino 🎉 The cardigan is knit in flat panels which you then seam together, allowing for customization and mixing different colors and stipe patterns. Keep an eye out for the pattern drop! 👀

Tour de Fleece Day 1
My goals for this year are just to spin a little bit every day, even if it's only for a couple of minutes. I've been slacking lately and want to get back into it without the pressure of worrying about how inconsistent my yarn looks or how often it breaks (all the time 🫩). Just spinning for the joy of it! Technically today is day 3 and I have been spinning every day!

Happy release day!! The Omega 3 sweater by @sheep.noodles and @thewanderingflock is out today! The sweater is knit flat top down using intarsia and a little bit of stranded colorwork for the center. There is the option to add a pocket to complete the tin but I still haven't decided if I want to add it. I kind of like how the slight variegation in the blue makes it look like my fish are flying through the air 🐟☁️

I've done intarsia before but not with 14 bobbins. This test knit was a great way to push my intarsia skills without committing to a huge colorwork project!

🌼🌼🌼 My Marguerite Shawl! 🌼🌼🌼
I love my little daisy shawl, it's so cheerful 🌼🥰
I have been very into shawlettes lately so I wanted to keep it on the smaller side and did only 10 repeats of the daisy motif. It knit up super quickly and Amy provided video tutorials of the stitches so it was really easy to follow. I would love to make a larger, solid color one in the future!

Week 2 of Olympic knitting ⛷️
