Naiad (7A) FA. Our recent trip to Wilderness National Park confirmed some great bouldering potential 🤩 I was stoked to put up this line amongst this stunning scenery —> at the uppermost end of the Kingfisher trail along the Touw River. It’s a 4km walk there from the camp site, but well worth it. I can’t find any evidence of established boulders here, but if anyone does have any info to the contrary, please let me know! Thanks @trizzytries for instigating this awesome trip. Easy to carry @madrockclimbing pads from @vertigogear making the trek out there a breeze 😮‍💨

Dove Tongue Degressor (8A) - my first of the grade, and such a sick 3D boulder by the legend Dave Graham🧊 What a wild ride this trip has been so far. After getting the flu from day two of the trip, achieving my main objective seemed out of reach, but somehow it still happened and I couldn’t be more psyched. Thanks to @vertigogear for the supplying the absolute quality gear including @sendclimbing @madrockclimbing @chalkcartel 🫶🏻

Established this dolerite boulder (Leopard’s Leap ~ 7A+) a while back in Mountain Zebra National Park. I keep thinking about how great it was and maybe it deserves its own post 🐆 🖤 Thanks @trizzytries for sieging these new frontiers with a homie 🫶🏻 Plenty more to be done in the Cradock area. Psyched for Rocklands soon 😈

We added another new-school line to Alicedale over the weekend! 🤸 “Tsiba” (translating to “jump” in the Xhosa language) was put up at 7B, waiting for some repeats. Fun times with the crew and well done to @joe.y5432 on the FA 💪🏻 Awesome vision by @jaymull93 🧐 Once again, our @madrockclimbing pads from @vertigogear turning the landing into a gym 👼

Exploring Alicedale - Thanks to the locals for guiding us around for the Alicedale leg of the Renegade trip. A hidden gem of the Eastern Cape, plenty of potential and peace in the quiet surroundings ! The lines are raw and the landings wild - bring a good crew and lots of pads and a good hat maybe even umbrella !
⚠️Be weary - thorn bushes + pads are not a friendly combo, caught with enough force on the pad + person in front of you they can pack a spikey punch/thwack !
