🇬🇧
To kick off the new week, here’s something a bit more low-key today.
This Mirage 2000D belongs to the Couteau Delta Team and was just being prepared for its deployment at the JPO in Saint-Dizier.
Somehow, I find that the image has a much stronger impact in black and white than in colour.
What do you think? Do you like edits like this, or do you prefer images that remain as natural and close to the original as possible?

Couteau Delta Mirage 2000 Display

Mirage 2000 Display
Mach 2, over 9 tonnes of afterburning thrust. At the Cognac airshow, the Mirage 2000 showed why it’s still a benchmark: vertical climbs, razor-sharp turns… and a pilot pushing the machine to its limits.
🙏 A huge thank you to the display team, the mechanics, the organisers and the volunteers who make these days possible !

@couteaudelta cutting through the Champagne sky. ⚔️🚀

What an incredible display of power from the Mirage 2000D RMV of the Couteau Delta demonstration team.

High speed, high-G manoeuvres and outstanding precision: three elements that make their display truly spectacular.

The Couteau Delta remain, in my eyes, one of the most impressive demonstration teams of the @armeedelair 🇫🇷

🗡️ COUTEAU DELTA (encore) 🇫🇷
