This one camera trick can completely change your sports footage 👀⚡️ One of my favourite ways to add more movement and energy to a sports edit is creating a slow shutter effect in my camera On my LUMIX S5II, there are four simple steps: 1. Turn on manual focus 2. Shutter needs to be in seconds 3. Reduce shutter speed 4. Increase f-stop to bring your exposure back down The last step is super important, blown out highlights aren’t always recoverable in the edit. Having an ND filter can help with step 4. I’ve used this technique across my sports and events edits to create more dynamic movement and transitions. Save this for your next shoot and follow along for more tips. Just got my @power_house_rufc 1XV jersey gifted to me framed with the Coutts Media Logo on it. Couldn’t be more proud to have my name on this jersey. It means a lot to me. Swipe to see the prime location chosen in the house. @faithxso not 100% sold on it but she’ll come around. 👑🤝 by @coutts.media
I’ve always enjoyed seeing other designers put their own creative spin on sports teams socials, it’s how I started out and I thought I’d jump back into it! And what better place to start than my hometown, Glasgow ⚔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and their team @glasgowwarriors A chance to experiment, learn new skills and have a bit of fun along the way. Course I had to add Melbourne’s own @12uipulotu_ 🔥🌆 Let me know what you think! Should I turn this into a series? 👀 Disclaimer: All designs are unofficial concepts created purely for fun.
