Serita was many things, she was one of the funniest yet strongest woman i’ve ever known despite everything that happened in her life: She was an incredible vocalist, my first babysitter, jeep fanatic, and first and foremost family. She once told me that siblings and I were the closest she’d ever come to having kids of her own and those words will live in my heart forever. It’s no coincidence to me that I felt the first cool breeze tonight, hope to see you in the frozen winds of my dreams. We will miss your light and voice forever. Give your mom and love a big hug I know you have waited a long time for that 🤍

We love you Rita

happy 20th bday to my darling @desyybrown

your arrival into this world changed everyone who has met you for the better. you have taught me so much about unconditional love, curiosity and compassion. you have always been my biggest supporter whether it be modeling dresses i made, acting in plays i would direct, or always being there with an open heart to listen. i’m truly so grateful that the universe shared some of their light with us in human form. it’s a blessing to see this miracle of life grow into such a beautiful person inside and out and i can’t wait to see what new adventures this period of life brings for you. so so so proud of you always, love your oldest brother <3 by @cowboybrown99
