We’ll always love you Dolly, you were one of so many that I just assumed you’d live forever. Your music will live on forever, forsure. Rest in love, you’ll never be forgotten! 😭 by @coyfish808

LEGEND! Every song, not just "somewhere over the rainbow"! "Johnny Mahoe", "white sandy beach", "Mona Lisa", "HAWAII 78", "HAWAIIAN SUPERMAN"!!! Born May 20th 1959, grew up hearing how cool he was, my pops always mentioned how he was my uncle's classmate. From Waimanalo, we were from Kailua, not too far apart. He died young at the age of 38. I wish I could have met him. I mean i'm not saying our family's were close or anything but, I don't think it would have been hard to atleast have seen him in passing. The world is a small place, O'ahu is even smaller. Israel "Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole was a big guy, not just his size being at around 700lbs but his heart, his character, his legacy he left behind. I encourage everyone to learn who he was, listen to his music, keep him alive. R.I.P. IZ! by @coyfish808

Hey, you guys know this guy? ...know his story, or atleast what was said about him when he first made the big screen? Great story!!! This is the O.G. influencer. Before social media it was movies and music. Now we're all here looking for the right people to influence us, and socialize with other people who don't even leave the house. I've been homeless, lived out of my car, begged on the street for money. Still til this day, I've met some of the realest, most down to earth, genuine people out on the streets, down on their luck but not complaining about their situation or blaming everyone else for it. Some people get lucky, some people stick to their losing battle because they can't seem to figure it out, hell, some people just give up! Everyday is another opportunity, don't give up! by @coyfish808

It was hard moving here from what most people here still think is a foreign country 🤣💀 ...and whether you see it that way or not, you could call me an immigrant, 1st generation! Like our buddy Scarface, I came here with next to nothing, made a lot of money, and lost it all. All of my sacrifices, blood, sweat, AND MANY TEARS (if I'm being honest), and I have nothing to show for it except two beautiful kids and A LOT of pretty cool story's you prolly wouldn't believe. People ask me why I moved here of all places and I guess like every other foreigner would prolly tell you "The American Dream"! I am an American but my dreams weren't going to come true if I stayed on the rock.
(I am still chasing my dreams, never stop!)

Just so you know (incase you didn't) Samoans and Hawaiians are two different ethnicities. Samoans come from the islands of Samoa, whereas Hawaiians come from Hawai'i. Kinda like you wouldn't call someone from Japan, Chinese or Korean after they told you they were from Japan and if there were any question or confusion about their Ethnicity past that you'd be kind just to ask. Idc what anyone says, if you were born and raised in Hawai'i, and are not of Hawaiian lineage or ancestry, PLEASE stop calling yourself Hawaiian, again TWO VERY DIFFERENT THINGS! Hawaiians don't have tribes like other Native Americans do. Yes, try process that one, I said it. [Native American] 50th state of America, and Native to it's land... maybe we can start getting recognized and actually get back something outta what was stolen so many years ago. If you don't know Hawaiian history, I encourage you to read jfgi muthasuckahz cause guess what? This is all I got for you.

HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE READ!
More to come, so until then malama pono, a hui hou, and ALOOOOOOHAAAAA! 😎🤙 by @coyfish808
