The fruit of the Spirit is love. 🍓
But not the kind the world describes.

Love isn’t a mood.
It’s not convenience.
It’s not letting people do whatever they want just to keep peace.

Love is a choice. A command. A fruit grown by the Spirit.
It looks like the Cross. And it costs something.

💔 It looks like choosing to speak truth to someone —
not because you’re “just being honest,” but because you want to see them restored.
Even if they get upset.
Even if they misunderstand your heart.
Because love doesn’t stay silent when someone’s walking toward harm.
Love corrects with a heart to heal, not a desire to be right.

👀 It looks like choosing to see someone through God’s eyes when they’re hard to love.
Not as a burden. Not as a label.
But as someone Jesus died for.
Someone with purpose, value, and a soul worth fighting for.

🕊️ It looks like forgiving without keeping score.
Not reminding them of what they did, but reminding yourself of what Jesus did.

🪜 It looks like reaching back to pull someone up to where you are, not moving on without them just because you healed faster.

Because real love doesn’t leave people behind.

📖 Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you.” (John 13:34)
That’s not a suggestion. That’s the standard.
When we love like Him, we fulfill the law. (Romans 13:10)

Love isn’t a vibe.
It’s a cross-shaped, Spirit-grown choice.

Some days it feels like you’re losing.
Like faith is slipping through your fingers.
Like it takes too much strength just to hope again.

But faith isn’t about how strong you feel.
It’s about who you agree with.

God already spoke victory over you.
And He doesn’t change His mind when you’re tired.
So even when your heart is weary —
walk like it’s true.
Because it is.

Transition is hard.
Even when you’re following God, change can feel uncomfortable, uncertain, and slow.
You want to move forward, but your circumstances still echo the past.
Your heart wrestles. Your mind resists. Your soul feels weary.

But God is still working.

He’s not just shifting your life — He’s shifting your mindset to match His Word.
He’s making a way in the wilderness.
He’s walking with you in the in-between.
And He’s giving you grace for the new thing.

💡 You don’t need to strive to keep the change.
You just need to trust Him and agree with what He’s doing.
Let go of what was.
Walk forward — not in fear, but in faith.
Because the One who started this shift will carry it through. 💛

The 10th commandment is unique.

While the others deal with our outward actions — murder, theft, lying — this one goes straight to the heart.

"You shall not covet."
(Exodus 20:17)

God wasn’t just concerned with behavior.
Even in the Old Testament, He was always after the posture of our hearts.

Covetousness is subtle.
We may not realize we’re doing it.
But it often leads to lust, envy, pride, and so many other sins.

It’s how Eve reached for the fruit.
How Cain grew jealous.
How Saul unraveled.
How David fell.

But Psalm 23:1 says,
“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
With Him — we already have all that we need.

To guard our hearts from covetousness, we must stay grounded in gratitude.

“Give thanks in all things, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Gratitude purifies.
Coveting corrupts.

Let’s be vigilant.
Let’s keep our hearts pure.

Because a heart that belongs to Him… should not want what He has not given.

Rejection doesn’t always look like sadness.
Sometimes it looks like comparison, pride, or the need to prove your worth.

But here’s the truth:
Rejection is a lie.
It tells you you’re not enough — but that directly contradicts what God says about you.

Scripture says,

“Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.”
Psalm 27:10
You are loved.
You are accepted.
You are chosen.
You are known.

Let God’s Word be louder than rejection ever was.
Let Him rewrite your identity with truth.

Sometimes we think strength has to look like striving. But the Word reminds us—our strength doesn’t come from pushing harder, but from receiving deeper. The joy of the Lord isn’t a surface-level cheer—it’s a soul-deep security in who He is and what He’s promised.

We can't overcome the flesh by feeding it.

But so often, that’s exactly what we try to do.

We run to distractions when we feel empty.
We scroll for comfort.
We eat to soothe.
We numb instead of surrender.

But Galatians 5:16 says:
“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”
The Spirit doesn’t help us manage the flesh —
He empowers us to crucify it.

Walking by the Spirit looks like:
📖 Turning to the Word
🕊 Surrendering before striving
🗣 Believing truth over feelings
💭 Keeping our mind set on Him

It’s a daily decision — but the reward is peace, clarity, and transformation.
You don’t have to fight the flesh alone.
Just walk with Him.

Gentleness often gets overlooked in a world that rewards loud opinions and strong personalities.

But in Galatians 5:22–23, gentleness is listed as a fruit of the Spirit — not an optional trait, but a vital evidence of God at work within us.

The Greek word chréstotés speaks of kindness, tender concern, and uprightness. Gentleness isn’t weakness — it’s strength under control. It’s love choosing to respond with softness instead of force. 💗

Anyone can be harsh. But to be kind when it’s inconvenient, or gentle when someone doesn’t deserve it — that’s fruit. That’s Christ.

🩸 “Crucify the flesh”? What does that even mean?

It’s not about losing yourself.
It’s about becoming the person He always created you to be.
