One of my favorite things about these monthly recaps are getting to look back and remember all the little moments that would have otherwise blended together. The books I was reading, the games I was playing, the things that made me smile, and the little joys tucked between the busy days. 🥰

September felt busy! When I sat down to look back, I struggled to remember the things I did. But after a little reflection, I was reminded of all the fun moments that made up the month!

September was a good reminder that I don’t want to rush through the months only to reach the end wondering where the time went. I want to slow down enough to enjoy the little things, celebrate the big things, and appreciate the ordinary moments that make up the life I’m building. 🫶🏻

So here’s to September, to remembering the little things, and to making more room for the moments worth remembering! ❤️

I’m trying to survive my Throne of Glass panic read, but Threshing Day has just been sitting there, looking at me, and begging me to read it… for two weeks now! 😅

Basgiath is calling! And I’m not sure how much longer I can resist! 🐉

Before I fully embrace fall, I just want to say one last thank you to summer☀️💛

Last summer, I had a newborn. This summer, I had a toddler 🥹 it was so magical to experience all of summer’s adventures through her eyes, and I’m thankful for all the little moments that made this summer so special 🤍

✨ August Recap ✨

When I sat down to reflect on August, I forgot so many of the fun parts 🥹

My first thought was just, “Wow, August was BUSY.” But then I started going through my photos and videos to make this post, and suddenly I remembered all the little moments that made August special ☀️💛

The games I played. The book I read. The family time. The little everyday moments I probably would have forgotten otherwise.

And honestly, that’s exactly why I started doing these monthly recaps 🫶🏻

Life can get so busy that we forget to stop and notice that we’re actually living through some pretty wonderful moments.

Welcome to what I am calling The Great Throne of Glass Panic Read 😂🗡️👑✨

I finished Crescent City: House of Flame and Shadow yesterday, and now I’ve decided to attempt to read the entire Throne of Glass series before ACOTAR 6 releases.

I have approximately 9 weeks. 😅

I bought almost all of the books at my local bookstore and plan to get the rest soon.

I’m trying audiobooks too so I can listen and read—and hopefully get through the books faster than my normal slow pace.

I may have completely lost my mind, but I’m excited to start this journey!

Please wish me luck—and absolutely NO SPOILERS. 😂❤️

I love my daughter and her plans 🫶🏻

But I’m also still a gamer who occasionally wants to ignore every responsibility and play ALL DAY 😂

For real though, I love being a mom, and I know these days of little hands won’t last forever! So I’m soaking up all this season has to offer and enjoying my nap-time gaming sessions for now. ❤️
