This book is a reminder to be unapologetic about who you are, and to find whimsy and magic in the everyday. ✨️ I loved reading this! ❤️ From the hard-hitting themes of abandonment and healing, to their swoon-worthy love story, everything was so emotional and heartwrenching. The message of realizing that softness is strength resonated with me in so many ways. It made me ugly cry! Multiple times. (... Obi was confused and came to comfort me 😂).

Thank you BK Borison for writing such a beautiful story! I loved Aiden and Lucie from First-Time Caller, and it's no surprise that I love Delilah and Jackson! 😭❄️ I loved the Maryland references, and the little easter eggs for Lovelight Farms and the Crow's Nest from Good Spirits! I was just waiting to see if Harriett and Nolan would make an appearance! 😍✨️

Happy release week and thank you to Penguin Books for this gifted copy of "Die For Me" by Dr. Shirlene Obuobi! 😍❤️ The cover art of this book is so stunning, I might need to go to a cardiologist myself. Like Ali Hazelwood said, I'm obsessed! I'm having literal heart palpitations just looking at it!

I love all things paranormal romance, and all things Summerween, and this story has all the elements that I love. From the tension and yearning, to the Twilight vibes, the mortal and immortal dynamic, forbidden love, and everything in between. The most seductive novel of the summer, for real! ❤️

If you desperately want to travel to Italy, but you literally can't, let this book take you there! 😍❤️

Let me start by saying I loved this book, it's so fun, refreshing, and absolutely hilarious! I binge read this, and it felt like watching a nostalgic 2000s rom-com movie, complete with laugh-out-loud banter, and a simply dreamy romance. 💕

I laughed, I cried (omg 😭), I fell in love (with Giuseppe the pigeon most of all!) and it reminded me of why I love romance books - finding the type of love that makes you feel truly seen.

Her posts bring so much light to the book community. Our world can feel so heavy and dark sometimes, and her books are the exact dose of joy, love, whimsy, and humor we all need right now.

Imagine this, you're walking your dog, as per usual, and your pup accidentally discovers a dead body… and you link up with your dogwalker friends to solve the murder! (... wait, actually, maybe don't imagine this! 😂 But you can read about it in this cozy mystery!). The premise for The Dogwalkers’ Detective Agency hooked me alone, and the funny dog names (or almost would-be names - Wiggo Mortensen!? Stop! 🤣) Thankfully, Obi and I haven't had this exact experience, and I think one of the most exciting things he discovered on a walk was… a turtle. 😂🐾

I love the vibes of Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes, Knives Out and Clue, and of course, dogs, so this book was such a fun adventure! I thought it was a clever whodunnit, with lots of laughs throughout and sharp banter. And I absolutely loved all of the dogs, and subtle observations that dog lovers can laugh and relate to.

With riveting twists and turns, this one definitely had me guessing. I usually read romance, magical realism, cozy healing fiction, and some fantasy and sci-fi, I haven't read many mysteries, and this was a fun escape!

With tears rolling down my face, I think that The Someday Garden is one of the most beautiful portrayals of grief and love that I've ever read. No exaggeration. This was my most anticipated read of the year, and this book honestly surpassed my expectations in every possible way.

No one blends magical realism, love, and loss quite like Ashley Poston. She has such a beautiful and rare gift for writing words to encapsulate the difficult complexities of grief.

This book perfectly captures the idea that grief and joy can coexist. It is a complex, gut-wrenching, yet deeply healing story that will make your heart shatter and put it back together all at once.

As someone who loves plants, gardens, and nature, the stunning imagery in this book absolutely swept me away. It reminded me of so many beautiful things that I love, from simply wandering in nature, being in the present with loved ones, to the wistful and nostalgic feeling of watching classic movies from Studio Ghibli, The Secret Garden, or beloved rom-coms. Plus, I loved learning that each chapter was named after a word that can't be translated precisely into English.

This is the type of book you need to savor. I read this book outside, under the sun, and it was perfect, because the literal sunlight helped dry my tears. It felt as magical and healing as something right out of the book itself.

I will cherish and treasure this story forever.

Today is my birthday! I'm so grateful for the book community and for everyone's kindness! I'm shining some light on one of my favorite books I read this year: Passion Project by London Sperry @londonsperrywrites ❤️✨️🥰

This book is about navigating grief, healing, finding that spark for life again. This story is heartfelt, emotional, and made me laugh (and cry!). I loved it so much, I've already read it twice! I simply loved Bennett and Henry's adventures in NYC. 😍

I originally found this at my local library, but I knew I needed my own copy. I was so surprised and happy to win a giveaway for it! Thank you to @jays_cozy_book_reads - it truly means the world to me! ❤️✨️
