𝕋𝕙𝕖 π•Žπ•šπ•₯𝕔𝕙 πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ β€’ Freida McFadden After feeling like a Victorian child on her deathbed once again, it was so nice for me to be feeling stronger & getting this pretty package at my doorstep today. And what better medicine than to get absolutely whiplashed from Freida twists... Freida is an autobuy author for me. The Witch has been a most anticipated read as soon as I heard it was coming out. Stay tuned for my review! In the meantime, look how pretty 😍 QOTD β€’ What's a highly anticipated read for you? by @cozyreadswith.a

Now I'm more than halfway and definitely loving it! The Knight and the Moth is full of secrets, mystery, visions, magic & even humour. My favourite character is gargoyle for sure πŸ˜…. 𝕋𝕙𝕖 π”Ήπ•£π•šπ•˜π•™π•₯ 𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕀 β˜€οΈ β€’ Sarah Damoff ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 I'll preface this by saying The Bright Years did not make me cry as I had hoped, but then again, I hardly ever do. I also don't love to give half ratings but neither a 3 or a 4 felt quite right. The Bright Years is raw, emotional, and full of complicated family dynamics. I did find parts of the story even relatable. My favourite part of this read would probably be how messy and realistic the characters were. I also loved the ending and felt like the story was wrapped up well. QOTD β€’ What are your plans for this weekend? by @cozyreadswith.a

ℍ𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕠𝕨 π”Ήπ• π•Ÿπ•–π•€ πŸ¦β€πŸ”₯ β€’ Jodi Picoult ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have some serious thoughts... I really enjoyed most of Hollow Bones. I finished the book within 24hrs so there was a lot about the story that pulled me in and kept me invested. There were also a few things that I didn't love while reading. (helloooo extra long chapters). Some storyline decisions left me feeling frustrated as well. And the ending.. wasn't exactly what I hoped. 🫠 I'm still glad that I read this one. I experienced pretty much every emotion while reading and I do think that's an indicator of a powerful read. So many parts had me absolutely shocked. If you're considering reading this one you'll want to definitely check out the trigger warnings! ⚠️ QOTD β€’ Was there a book you enjoyed but it also annoyed you? Or tell me something good thats happened to you this week so far. by @cozyreadswith.a

Let me just say, the characters I did not like, I REALLY did not like. @markedwithanm, you really know how to write a good creep. πŸ˜… This was such an easy to follow story, which made for a quick read. It had fluffy moments in it, but also was still able to give me the creeps. I really enjoyed the unique themes in this story! π•ƒπ•¦π•”π•œπ•ͺ 🎲 β€’ Marissa Stapley ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lucky Armstrong is a con artist pulling tricks and on the run. Seemingly, true to her name she wins big on a lotto ticket. But is she truly lucky? Cashing it in would mean to turn herself in. Lucky must decide her fate even if the best thing to do seems like the most dangerous. This was a short, fun little read. It was one that I could definitely picture in my mind as I read it, which made it more enjoyable. I can definitely see this being a movie or a show.
