21 years ago today, Chris Paul made his NBA debut.

CP3 had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and a block.

The start of a Hall of Fame career, and one of the greatest PGs to ever play the game of basketball. 🌟

How Chris Paul helped the Golden State Valkyries on their journey to becoming the 2026 WNBA Champions:

CP3 has been very involved behind the scenes for the Valks. He’s been at many practices, film sessions, and workouts with individual players.

The Valks have been able to pick the mind of CP3, and learn so much, including major defensive help & film, said star & FMVP Gabby Williams.

Chris B. Haynes went to say that CP3 had been a “de facto” assistant coach for the Valkyries this season, showing how much he was involved.

Chris Paul was at multiple finals games, including the Game 7 championship win!

Valkyries Head Coach, Natalie Nakase told Chris Paul on the floor while celebrating the championship:

“Thank you for all your help man.”

Natalie was a coach for CP3 during his Clipper days. Full circle.

Congrats to the Valkyries on the championship 🫡🏆

Chris Paul’s record on Halloween: 8-0

42 PTS | 15 AST | 6 STLS | 12/20 FG against the Warriors in 2013

First player to ever record that statline in a game. 🐐

Have a safe Halloween y’all 🧡

This is the greatest PG to ever play the game of basketball.

Right here. No doubt in my mind.

0 weaknesses in his game, did absolutely everything.

CP3 hoops on the Spurs was elite even at age 40.

CP3 always had Wemby set up & were so good together man. A shame we only saw them for half a season due to Wemby’s health issue.

This move by SGA on opening night was straight from CP3’s book 📕

The NBA is back today, but Chris Paul isn’t ☹️

First season without CP3 hoops in 21 years. Still have to get used to this.

Throwback to when the Hornets paid tribute to the original New Orleans Buccaneers ABA team with these jerseys.

December 10th, 2008.

Thought it was a good time to show these off, since a few teams are adding these ABA throwbacks this season!

Chris Paul made All-Defensive 1st Team 6 years straight. From the 2011-12 season, all the way until the 2016-17 season.

6 years of elite defense, 3 of those years he also led the league in steals.

At just 6’0, CP3 was one of the best defenders in the league for a majority of his career.

People really don’t understand how important Chris Paul is to OKC’s history.

Without him, there may have never been a Oklahoma City Thunder team.

Back in 2005, the New Orleans Hornets relocated to Oklahoma City temporarily due to Hurricane Katrina. They played their home games in OKC from 2005-2007.

The strong support in OKC for the team, & star power led by Chris Paul was a big eye-opener for the NBA.

With that, OKC later turned into an official NBA team, the Thunder, after the Seattle SuperSonics were relocated.
