My husband and I have started looking for better food quality in 2026. But where do we go and how does it taste, when you shop outside of the supermarkets? We tried the pictured cans and vegetables bought at a farmers market at @oremandsgaardgods. Here’s how it went. Disclaimer: we paid for everything ourselves.
- vegetables from @under.egen.jordbrug. They tasted crunchy, like from your own garden. We made a #leeksoup🍵 with Owen dried Parma ham. (Tastes like beef jerky)
- spicy ketchup from @syltehuset. I swapped some minched goose meat with a colleague for a jar of homemade apple chutney and made a spicy Bolognese. The ketchup made it taste more like #pastaarrabbiata🌶️🍝
- sausages from @stensbygaard and relish from Syltehuset. We made it with a mixed mash. My husband still talks about this dish😂

@oremandsgaardgods dating back to year 1356. First on organic and biodynamic farming from 1967. Present owner August Hage inherited the estate when he was only 25 years old in 2013 after his fathers sudden death. He’s managed to run the estate in the spirit of his father with collaborative projects with local companies and he has started his own production of liquor in some of the building’s. Very interesting place. We bought several high quality foods at the market and enjoyed the beautiful landscape. It has our recommendation, if you’re near by some day😊 by @cphprojects

We paid a visit to #pcarlpetersenskollegium in #skovshoved. I’ve past many times on my bicycle and wondered how this incredible #hallofresidence looked like from the inside. To my luck @kunstsalonencom held an open art exhibition there last weekend and we got a chance to see it - along with 100s of other people. #historiskebygninger by @cphprojects

Yesterday we had another successful mother-and-son trip. This time we paid a visit to @bonsaimurin - just outside Copenhagen. Amazing collection of old #bonsaitrees💚 Some up til +350 years passed down in generations from a manor house. #plantsforever #plantlovers by @cphprojects

We are all part of someone’s ecosystem: New buddy in our #utilitygarden turned up lately. A small #protectednewt had a swim in my plant saucer. He or she eats snails and woodlouse before going in to hibernation, which is very welcoming. My husband caught it on his #djiosmonanocamera while working in the garden. #lillevandsalamanderstoroplevelse #vandsalamander by @cphprojects

A new chapter in my family has began. My mother in-law is selling her beautiful home and moving to something easier to maintain. She’s a collector like me. It’s very sentimental for her to start selling and giving away stuff. I have started a collaboration with her sorting trough some of her belongings and trying to find new home for the best of them. We have started in the garden that is filled with old sandstone garden pots, cast iron and other lovely vintage garden things. The bench is the only thing, that has been sold outside of the family so far. The rest will be kept with us. But I managed to find a new home for the bench in the northern part of Jutland, where it now has a prominent place outside a fantastic #thatchedcottage 💚#vintagegardenstyle #sandstonegardenpots #haveinteriør by @cphprojects

Wishing you a lovely weekend with the last pictures from the German #islandofsylt. The island was good to us with: Sunny beaches, beautiful houses, high quality food at farmers market and - not to forget - the famous German teddy bears #stieffteddybears - so charming. Going on a small adventure - I missed #thenorthernsea and convinced my dear husband to take a trip to the German part of #thewaddensea on the island of #sylt. We shopped at the local fischshop and bakery at the Danish island of #römö before driving to the ferry. Here we were greeted in a very friendly way by the Ticketmaster and I wondered how he remembered my name? It turns out, that we are the only Danes on the ferry - and so far - also on the island. The coming days we will explore the #frisianarchitecture that is characteristic of this island. by @cphprojects

And so it happened. The former “Little girl’s room” is now completely renovated and turned into “The botanist’s room” (my room). The room is full of sweet donations from family and friends - besides my homemade plants. These er in example: Bamboo chair from the old Danish master #wenglerbambus donated by my mother-in-law, the dark drawing made by my son, the tiny ceramic box made by a colleague, the knitted blanketfrom my neighbor and so on. Love the history and #reusereducerecycle 💚In the last picture you can see, how the room looked, when we bought the old #1930apartment - loved the lilac, but in a much smaller scale. #slowrenovations #interiorinspirations by @cphprojects
