Congratulations to @cppbaseball alum Kyle Garlick for being selected to the 2026 Mexican Baseball League All-Star Game!

Yesterday, Garlick batted cleanup for the LMB Banorte All-Stars, going 2-for-2 in the team’s 5-3 victory over the Mexican National Baseball Team at Walmart Park in Monterrey, including an RBI single to right field.

Garlick put together one of the most impressive single seasons in CPP history in 2015, breaking the single-season home run record (17) while leading the Broncos to the CCAA regular-season, CCAA Tournament, and NCAA Division II West Regional titles. He earned All-CCAA, All-West Region, and All-America honors.

Following that standout campaign, Garlick was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 28th round of the 2015 MLB Draft and later became the 11th Bronco to reach the Major Leagues.

@cppbaseball’s Jenzen Torres has been named NCAA Division II National Assistant Coach of the Year by ABCA!

The ABCA selects one recipient from each division annually based on coaching expertise, recruiting success, loyalty to the program, and respect for both the players and the game.

Torres is the first Bronco coach to ever receive the award.
