Future clinical practice candidates, this opportunity is for you!

Applications for the 2027 Partners in Education Fellowship open October 1, 2026. Eligible credential students can receive a $5,000 award to support them during clinical practice—along with valuable networking opportunities and lifelong mentorship.

Applicants must:

✅ Be fully admitted to a credential program
✅ Be working toward their first credential
✅ Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
✅ Submit one letter of recommendation
✅ Receive eligibility approval from the Financial Aid Office

CPP became a discovery hub for Kindergarten through 9th-grade students during 3 STEM summer camps, hosted by the @cppceis and @cppenv colleges.

These #FutureBroncos got hands-on experience by:
💧 Testing water and air quality
🦝 Tracking the wildlife around campus
🌱 Exploring ecosystems at the Lyle Center, BioTrek, and Bonelli Park
🗺️ Using ArcGIS Field Maps to collect data and investigate their surroundings
💻 Coding with Micro:bits, programming, and experimenting with motors
🎨 Creating and designing projects using color theory, art, and engineering

Calling CPP students interested in education, youth development, and community engagement! 🌟

The Office of Interdisciplinary Ethnic Studies is seeking six Early Childhood Development or Liberal Studies students to serve as Community Creative Space Play Ambassadors at the Community Innovation Hub in Downtown Pomona.

Through this paid micro-internship, students will gain hands-on experience leading fun, engaging activities for K–12 youth during monthly community events while helping create a welcoming space for local families.

✨ $16.90/hour
✨ 24-hour assignment
✨ Build facilitation and youth engagement skills
✨ Make meaningful connections with the Pomona community

Where do you feel a sense of belonging? ✍️✨

Join us for September’s Community Creative Space, where we’ll explore belonging and identity through guided writing prompts, journaling, coloring, and creative reflection. Bring a project, begin something new, or simply connect with Cal Poly Pomona and Pomona community members in a welcoming space centered on creativity, wellness, healing, and community care.

Families are welcome! Children can enjoy a slime-making station and coloring activities from noon–2 p.m. 🎨

When most people think of college classes, they picture lectures and exams. @cppceis @ews_cpp Professor Paul Knopf has a different approach. 🧘‍♂️🎵

At the @friendsofthepomonalibrary, Knopf leads free sound bath sessions using Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, and gongs while his CPP students tutor children just down the hall through a free after-school homework program. Together, they're exploring how mindfulness and community service can improve mental well-being, strengthen connections, and create meaningful social change.

Congratulations to Dr. S. Terri Gomez on her appointment as the next President of California State University, San Bernardino! 🎉

A proud member of the CEIS family, Dr. Gomez has made a lasting impact at Cal Poly Pomona through her dedication to students and higher education. She served as a professor in the Department of Ethnic and Women’s Studies, Interim Associate Dean in the College of Education and Integrative Studies (CEIS), and later as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Throughout her career, she has championed student success, equity, and academic excellence while inspiring generations of Broncos.

The CEIS community congratulates Dr. Gomez on this well-deserved achievement and wishes her continued success as she begins this exciting new chapter leading California State University, San Bernardino. Once a CEIS Bronco, always a CEIS Bronco. 💚💛
