Introducing the Bobby Seale’s Black Panther Legacy Collection — designed by Caley Hope Parker.

Inspired by history, rooted in culture, and created with purpose. This collection represents more than fashion; it is a tribute to the vision, sacrifice, and legacy of those who paved the way. Through design, we honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the next generation to carry the movement forward.

As a young designer, I believe fashion has the power to tell stories, preserve history, and create conversations that transcend generations. This is my way of contributing to a legacy that deserves to live on. 🖤

🚨Today is one of those full-circle moments and 10 years in the making that reminds me why the labor is worth the love. Projects like this are never “just business.” They’re a responsibility, stewardship and legacy. And when you are entrusted with helping honor someone as significant as Black Panther Party Co-Founder Bobby Seale, the weight of that history is real and at times heavy. But to hold history in your hands — to help usher not only deals, but someone else’s destiny into fulfillment — brings me unspeakable joy.

My heart is full of gratitude for everyone who has helped move this moment forward: my partner in power @marcusking2644 #Joe Regal, @oronde @l.a.i.communications @derreckbjohnson @xavierbuck and @hueypnewtonfoundation our attorney @chrisbrownthelawyer to my godmother @victoriachristophermurray and everyone contributing their words, support, blurbs, and belief to this re-release on 2/16/27.

A very special thank you to the incomparable @realdlhughley for the new foreword, to @blackstonepublishing for helping ensure Seize the Time is back in print and placed in the hands of future generations, and to @obeygiant for this absolutely dope new cover making Seize the Time an official and true work of art.

Pulled up on Slauson today with @christian423 for The Drop… and whew, this one felt a little different. ❤️‍🔥 So much of what @johnsingleton created was rooted in this show, these streets, this culture, and this city — and being there brought back a flood of memories of John, his brilliance, his laughter, and the way he always made South Central feel like the center of the universe. I, like many others was there w/John from the beginning of this…

Beautiful to see the legacy continue with @fxnetworks The Drop. Congratulations to everyone involved. John would be proud. 🖤

Toot, I cannot believe it’s been 22 years since I became your Mom. And oh, what a journey it has been. 💗

You asked me not to get too mushy or write something that would make you cry, so for you, I’ll temper my words and simply say this: my life changed forever the day God blessed me with you, daughter.

This transition into adulthood has not always been easy—for either of us—but through every high, every hard lesson, every growing pain, I remain steady in what I know and what I believe: God will complete the good work He has begun in you.

You are special, Caley. And not just because you’re mine. There is something uniquely you that the people who truly know and love you get to experience for themselves.

Adulting is HARD, baby. But rather than bump against every lesson life is trying to teach you, I hope you learn to lean into them. Let life stretch you, shape you, surprise you, and even humble you when necessary. Because the good parts? They are SO good. I promise. And the hard parts, though they can feel endless while you’re in them, never last forever.

So for Chapter 22, I’m believing God for a year filled with every adventure your heart and hands can hold. New experiences. Bigger dreams. Greater wisdom. Genuine love. Unexpected joy. Open doors. Divine protection. And the kind of growth that one day makes you look back and understand why every part of the journey mattered.

Keep becoming, Toot. Keep learning. Keep trusting God. And keep making room for the beautiful life still waiting for you.

Some loves never leave us. They simply live in a quieter place…

Although I rarely post about my father, I think of him all the time.

Oh, the things I wish I could share with him today. It feels so strange sometimes to strain my thoughts trying to remember the smallest details about him — his infectious laugh, his crooked smile that’s just like mine, or maybe mine is just like his, and our very last conversation on Father’s Day before he passed.

Even though some of those memories have grown faint with time, his love remains deeply rooted in my heart. I miss you, Daddy!

Have you ever had an experience that gave way to the definition of that word? Well seeing @terracemartin and his band perform at the @bluenotelosangeles was nothing short of an AMAZING experience! From the personable interactions with the crowd to the brilliant blows of the horns and sounds of every instrument the essence of real and soulful music filled every ounce of that room! I needed the night… I needed the sounds, the music, the magic and the movement… it was just the experience I needed!
