Eating my words for lunch today. 🫠 Before having a baby, I was convinced I was going to be a total crunchy minimalist who didn’t need any high-tech gear.

There’s another interesting piece of the science behind back sleeping: babies are naturally curious, even before they can sit or crawl.

On their backs, babies have a wider opportunity to look around, track movement, and take in their surroundings when they’re awake in their sleep space. That visual exploration is part of how they begin learning about the world around them.
