✨ DIY Diwali Decoration Idea (2/7) 💡

Scrolling through Pinterest for Diwali decoration ideas, I found this unique DIY lamp — also called a Jigsaw Lamp. It’s such an easy DIY light project, and the best part? It’s fully handmade using simple things you already have at home!

You’ll need:
1️⃣ Ivory sheet – 2 pieces (₹40)
2️⃣ Scale
3️⃣ Scissor
4️⃣ Pencil
5️⃣ Holder & bulb

Step-by-Step Paper Craft Lamp Tutorial:

➡️ Take an ivory sheet (not regular art paper) and cut it into 12 x 16 cm pieces.
➡️ Draw the design ( I will upload the design on my broadcast channel as well as my story highlight). Make about 30 pieces — 2 ivory sheets are enough if you use my dimensions.
➡️ Now, like a puzzle, interlock all the paper pieces together — no glue needed!
➡️ Add a bulb holder, hang it up, and there you go — your glowing Diwali lamp is ready!

DIY Lotus Flower from Paper 🪷✨

Yeh lotus dekh ke koi nahi bolega ki yeh sirf chart paper se bana hai! And the best part? Isse banane mein sirf 30 minutes lagenge. 🌸
Agar aapko paper craft, easy DIY, handmade decoration, ya paper flower making pasand hai, toh this is such a simple and satisfying DIY lotus flower to try.
You can make this paper lotus in different colours and use it for Ganpati decoration, Ganesh Chaturthi decoration, festive decoration, room décor, or even as a handmade home décor piece.
Materials I Used:
1. Chart Paper
2. Pencil
3. Scissors
4. Glue
5. Ruler
Here’s How I Made This Paper Lotus:
➡️ First, I took a chart paper and made five circles in different sizes. These different-sized circles will help us create the layered shape of our lotus flower.
➡️ Then, I cut out all the circles carefully. Try to keep the edges clean so the petals look neat and symmetrical.
➡️ Next, inside each circle, I drew a smaller circle in the centre and made lines around it to divide the circle into different sections.
➡️ Now, I carefully cut along those lines and folded each section towards the inside. A little glue helps create the shape of the lotus petals.
➡️ Isi tarah, I prepared all the remaining pieces. Once all five layers were ready, it was time to put the paper flower together.
➡️ Finally, I layered all the pieces together—the biggest piece at the bottom and the smallest one on top.
And… bas! Hamara paper lotus ready hai! 🪷✨
The best part about this chart paper craft is that you only need a few basic materials, but the final result looks so detailed and aesthetic.
You can try this easy paper craft in pink, white, yellow, purple, or any colour you like. It’s especially perfect for Ganpati decoration, Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali decoration, festive décor, and handmade home décor.
