the face behind the nails💅🏻

Hello! I want to thank everyone who has joined me along this nail journey! I wanted to make a proper introduction post as a milestone of having this account for 1 year and hitting 500 followers🩷🎉

My name is Arianna, i’m 23 (turning 24 this month!) I have always loved art and anything to be creative with. I have always loved nail polish but until I grew up and had my own money🤣I didn’t know the extent of what was out there!
I live with my partner of almost 5 years!!! He is the greatest and I couldn’t ask for a better person to spend my life with. He’s always supporting me with the things I love like this account! We have 5 animals, whom we consider our actual children🥹😭❤️
We have three cats, Kovu, my old man cat, he’s my childhood pet named after the outcast lion in Lion King. Rocket, our big fluffy girl, she is the sweetest girl that is always wanting pets, she’s named after Rocket the Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy. Last but not least, Perseus aka Percy aka Bean, this guy doesn’t really know what his name is but neither do we😭😭😭
My partner has a beautiful ball python named Psyche, she’s the sweetest and loves climbing all around in her terrariums. Together, we bought a bearded dragon named Krampus, she’s a sassy big ol girl, she loves sitting in her hammocks.
I love listening to music, all types. If i had to pick my top favorite artists, it would be System of a Down, Bring Me the Horizon, and Megan Thee Stallion😭😭I know whiplash
I used to be a mechanic, now I have converted to Corporate Goth™️
I love cars! My favorites are JDM, or Japanese made cars. I currently have a Subaru Legacy and I’ve done all the work on it myself!
I love the color pink🩷
I LOVE all things spooky!💀
My favorite foods are pasta, sushi, and any chicken honestly😭
I LOVE coffee☕️

When I’m not working, you can find me chilling at home. Doing my nails, listening to music, cooking or baking, or playing Sims 4 or Dead By Daylight!

If you have any questions or just want to chat you’re more than welcome🩷
Thank you for reading and thank you for being here🫂 by @crafteaclaws

🖤🏒❤️

This is bit of a personal set of nails for me. I’ve been a Carolina Hurricanes fan since I was a kid. My aunt used to take me to games a lot when I was younger. I always loved the atmosphere, the in-game fights and I’ve always loved the players in the canes❤️ The canes are in the playoffs again this year and are currently in an 8 game winning streak! I’m super proud of the team and super excited to see them continue in the playoffs.

I decided to pull out my signed jersey my aunt helped me get signed at one of the events when I was little. It’s signed by my favorite player, Eric Staal #12 . He’s since been retired, his jersey is hung up in our home stadium! His brother, Jordan, now plays on the canes as the captain! I included a picture my aunt was able to snag at the event at the end (it’s SO old pls don’t kill me for quality 😭😭😭) I inspired one hand by the “Take Warning” jerseys and my other hand is inspired by the Hartford Whalers. This was the Hurricanes back in 70s-90s before they relocated to NC. The canes occasionally do retro nights where they wear the Whalers jerseys, they are white, blue and green so I thought the polish was PERFECT! I’ll include the polish names at the bottom because I thought they all were very team/playoff fitting lol

I hope yall liked these nails even if you aren’t a hockey fan! And if you are a hockey fan, tell me what your team is!!!

Today marks 4 years since my mom left this earth. Last year, I did nails for my mom’s anniversary and I wanted to continue the trend for her as a little thing to do. We shared nails as a hobby and a lot of polishes I get, I often think of her and buy it “for her” in my head. She loved bright polishes, especially a bright red and a burnt orange🔥 This year for my mom’s anniversary nails, I decided to do something special to her but also another member in my family, my grandma.

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness month. MS is an unpredictable central nervous system disease. Your central nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. With that being said, your whole body doesn’t communicate with your brain right and anything can change. Symptoms can vary from person to person, but most experience fatigue, memory issues, mobility issues/changes, mood changes, numbness/tingling, pain in any amount and vision issues.

For all of my life, I’ve seen my grandmother struggle through this disease and then my mother was diagnosed when I was in elementary or middle school. It was definitely life changing to find out my mom had something like this at a young age. But my mom, and my grandma, are so incredibly tough🧡

People often use the color orange and a butterfly, like a Monarch, to represent MS. So I decided to do @ilnp Pumpkin Patch as a beautiful, sparkley base that my mom would love, to create some butterfly wings✨
As I was taking photos, I realized I had a few tattoos dedicated to my mom so those are featured along with a dragon statue that my aunt got for me “for her”. My mom was also an ARMY with my persuasion 🤣so hints the song choice💜

Please remember if you are going through something, there is always somebody that will listen🧡 don’t give up🫂 and thank you for reading by @crafteaclaws

The clankers!!!! The most hated and most loved! A super fun prompt from #starwarsnailsmonthly that I was super excited for!

I decided to do Obi-Wan’s droid, R4-P17 or for short, R4! You’ll see them in Clone Wars or the in the OG movies. I took to their paint scheme and did dark red and chrome, and sponged on some black to make it look weathered.

Be sure to check everyone else’s nails out in the hashtag! Thank you to our host @xfireanddarkness for hosting and creating the beautiful graphics every month! by @crafteaclaws

Baneberry @arcanalacquer 🔥🔥

Another arcana lacquer I was able to snag from their sale a month or so ago. I grabbed this because who can resist a black polish with a little sparkle??? I thought this polish was super pretty, it looks like normal black polish but when the light hits, all of a sudden you’re a vampire🙂which is my favorite effect of any nail polish🤣🤣🤣
The red flakies make this polish so fun and so moody😙

Life has 100% been lifing, I’ve been a little MIA on here, I’ve been trying to pop in every now and again but sometimes social media is really overwhelming combined with everything going on in life. My piece of advice, please, don’t push yourself to do something if your heart isn’t fully in it! Especially if it’s creative driven, I feel like you drain yourself SO much quicker.
I hope everyone has been having a great week so far and stay safe this weekend!! by @crafteaclaws

I love you always, RAGE👹✨

A little combo for yall today. I have a mystery polish by @twinkle_hex_polish I grabbed and I LOVE. It reminds me of MC Maelstrom without having to add a black base😆 the sparkle flakes are also a little shifty, they’re green/blue and purple!
I decided to add @monarchlacquer on top of a few nails because of the reflective glitter, I couldn’t help myself. The flakes in that one were also similar. I like the extra sparkle it gives✨✨

I hope everyone has been having a great week❤️ by @crafteaclaws

Hello!! It’s been a fair minute. Life has been wild to say the least but I finally have some nail photos for yall.

This is another polish I grabbed from Arcana’s sale. I love their thermals, I find they’re super reactive. I think polish gives Twilight Sparkle with the purple and pink, AND THE BLUE SHIMMER, I’m not sure how well it comes up in the photos though 😭😵‍💫

I hope everyone is hanging in there as much as they can❤️ if you need an ear, my dms are always open. by @crafteaclaws

Sacred Fire🔥 @arcanalacquer

What a beauty this polish is!! I’m so glad I snagged this as it’s discontinued now🥲
I believe this is my first polish that has holo in it and yall im OBSESSED!!! This polish is so moody, it gives me vampire vibes so hard. I love the warm state looking pinkish/red and the cold state is such a pretty brownish/red/maroon color😍 the sparkles and holo just add that BEAUTIFUL touch that totally transforms the polish as it shifts!
I took these photos in my car, the light was hitting, I honestly found this one a little hard to photograph because I feel like photos do NOT do this polish justice! This holo is holo-ing!

I hope yall have a great and safe week❤️ by @crafteaclaws

Gushers? Infinity Stones? Skittles? Idk I want to eat my HANDS!!!

I’ve been collecting polishes to do a rainbow magnetic mani for at least 6 months and I finally have it together and i feel complete🤣😭 3/5 of these my partner got for me and it makes me feel so special that he contributes to my interests, ideas and even helps out with photos sometimes❤️ 2/5 of these were recommended to me by the community and I LOVE our space so much and I appreciate those that reached out when I’m looking for recommendations❤️I absolutely LOVE how these turned out🤩 I hope yall do too !!

May the 4th be with you🌌 🚀🪐

This month, #starwarsmanicollab chose Rebellion as our theme. It’s a theme that hits home for a lot of us. There’s a lot going on in our world right now and it’s hard to stay positive sometimes.

I took inspiration from Sabine Wren, a Mandolorian warrior. She is super artistic, her art inspired the symbol for the Alliance to Restore the Republic. I learned about her in Rebels, one of my fav shows of the SW series! She welds the DARK SABER??? She’s amazing. She normally has colored hair and does graffiti style art. I took some colors I see her use a lot and just went crazy sponging it on with a makeup sponge. The end result ended up looking like her armor suit so I’m 100% not mad at it🤣🤣

Be sure to check out everyone else’s nails, and thank you to our host for bringing us together once again!

YALL I have this GORGEOUS pink skittle to show yall!!! I had to post a video because the polishes all catch the light in different ways. I absolutely love all the finishes and different sparkles in the polishes💖

I hope everyone has a great Monday and a great rest of their week!!! by @crafteaclaws

The big chop🔪 I’m sorry yall I had to tame the claws a bit😅

I’m super excited to be wearing @audrey_swatches x @crackedpolish Pond Stew and Petals on the Surface for the first time🫣 this was released in the summer of last year and I loved the Monet inspiration and the pink magnetic topper so much I HAD to have it. In between my own ideas and collabs, I never just put it on by itself. I love all the different flakies in Pond Stew and the magnetic topper is perfect to add to any set of nails! I added a @sally_hansen sparkle top coat to everything to add a bit more✨ I thought the extra sparkle made it look like the water reflecting light☀️

I hope everyone has a great Saturday! I got some new yarn for some crochet projects and I’m gonna be crafting all weekend, I’m super excited! by @crafteaclaws
